This man is a GENIUS. He was honest and upfront that he normally needs access to the underside of the stairs to make any improvement, and couldn't promise results. Our brand new loft stairs were badly put in and horrendously creaky - not what you want in a house with two small babies! We removed the carpets, and after an initial timelapse trying to find a mutually convenient time, Johny arrived with a colleague. They spent about two hours with some magic glue, and a load of screws, and we now have virtually sound-free stairs. He even recommended a good carpet fitter to refit the carpet the following day. We were truly amazed, and very grateful!

We have fitted bedroom furniture but the old doors looked tired and dated. Johny brought samples and pictures. The work was carried out efficiently - the doors (small for some cabinets and tall wardrobe doors) look much more modern and are a perfect fit. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and would recommend his services.

Johnny and team were prompt and kept the working area very tidy. The work involved removing a loft hatch, making a new opening, providing strengthening and installing a new fold out hatch. The ceiling was reboarded and plastered with coving and architrave added. Johny adapted a radiator cover and fitted to our nursery. The finish on the ceiling dried to be fine and smooth and the standard of workmanship was good. Johnny took the effort to plan the job well.

We are a very sensitive site and the guys worked around our specific needs brilliantly keeping all staff and students very happy! Their work is fantastic and I couldn't believe how quickly they completed each seperate area with a minimum of fuss. They definately go the extra mile to accomodate requirements and budget and were very thorough when it came to drawing the initial design out - we would definately ask them back!!

They went out of their way to help source our back door and collect it from Slough, did a brilliant job of fitting the door and repairing the old frame and then came back to fit the draught strip once I had painted the door. They are very reliable and their standard of work is very high. I have used them before, and will be using them again in the future.

The project was not straight forward at all, but Johnny was able to come up with various options and to be flexible enough to change designs when necessary. He was also able to accommodate some additional work that wasn't known or specified to begin with, and this made the whole build much easier. I initially commission John and Nick to make some wardrobes in our master bedroom. We were so impressed by their workmanship, friendliness and their general attention to detail and high standards that we soon had them building in almost every room in the house! They created some beautiful new banisters for our stairs, some bespoke cupboards (fitted into a not entirely square space!) and a number of other jobs around the house. All were completed to the highest standard, in a good time frame and with minimum amount of fuss, despite them often having to work in cramped spaces. I have no problem whatsoever in recommending John and Nick - they are professional craftsman with a passion for their work which shows in the results.

This was a horrid job due to corroded hardened steel hinge screws which all broke off... it took a while and lots of perseverance, but he got there. The doors were pretty heavy to deal with too. A good compromise was found to work - otherwise a complete re-hanging would have been a lot more work.
