Renovation of kitchen and dining room
The work Adam and his team completed for us in the summer has completely replenished my faith in local tradesmen! From start to finish Adam was readily available to talk to and meet if necessary and this really helped to keep us sane when half your house is a building site and everything sounds terribly technical and rather scary! The timescale we were given was accurate to within a week or so, to our surprise, as this included extra work that we added during the job and issues that arose once the work started. The whole team were very friendly and professional and would not look out of place on DIY SOS! I would definitely recommend Adam and his team of merry men. The whole experience was worth every penny and we now have a brilliant family space that makes it so worthwhile. The aftercare has been really thorough too and we are looking forward to seeing Adam’s handy-work again on our front door renovation!

Installation of chemical damp proof membrane and tanking of ground floor walls
Contacted JCJ via checkatrade. Adam was very helpful and prompt on attending the house to quote, provided a detailed and clear quote, clearly specifying what was being quoted for. The renovation works I am carrying out have absolutely no margin for error on deadline, so it is essential to me that the trades that I get in for various tasks are able to quote and do the work on time. The standards of work and the way the work was handled was excellent and I would have no problems with recommending JCJ whatsoever. I would have no hesitation in using them again in the future

Loft Conversion

Replacement Kitchen

Damp Proofing
Whilst preparing for my replacement kitchen a damp problem was highlighted. This was identified and dealt with in an efficient manner. Adam took responsibility for everything to resolve the problem and was also keen to identify the root cause of the problem. I was kept informed throughout, and now know what additional work is required to resolve the problem completely. I will be arranging for this to be completed by JCJ in the future. Whilst this work hadn't been anticipated, Adam was able to re-arrange the schedule to minimise delays, and keep my kitchen replacement on track. This is the third piece of work that JCJ have undertaken for me, and as always I am very happy with the quality of work and level of service received.

Resize, re-design and replacement of Bathroom
Having used JCJ Construction before to remove an adjoining wall I was confident that I would be able to achieve the vision I had for my bathroom. I needed to create more room in my 3rd Bedroom without compromising the bathroom too much. JCJ were able to meet these requirements, gaining sufficient space in the bedroom and providing a bathroom which didn't feel any smaller. Adam was able to offer suggestions, which improved the overall effect. Again disruption was kept to a minimum, through careful scheduling and all building materials and mess being tidied away each night. When there were problems, these were resolved immediately without fuss. I now have a lovely bathroom which I am very happy with.

Remove wall between Lounge and Dining Room
Whilst having to overcome numerous challenges - not only with the job, ie. Plaster falling off the walls but also with heavy snow falls delaying delivery of key items, Adam and his team found ways to keep the job on track, and keep additional costs to a minimum without compromising in quality of solution. In addition they kept the house as tidy as possible and removed and replaced the sofa and tv on a daily basis so that my life was not disrupted whilst the work was in progress. The work was completed to a high standard, and I would have no hesitation in using JCJ again, or recommending them on.

Damp Proofing (internal and external), Complete Kitchen installation
JCJ Construction repaired our damp kitchen walls, protecting both inside and outside before re-rendering, plastering and installing a whole new kitchen including electrics, plumbing, re-wiring and leveling the floor.
