The installation arrangements to provide outside garden lighting and re-arrangement of internal switches was discussed fully before the installation and the work was carried out efficiently and professionally to a high standard. When it comes to electrics you cannot take chances. Jeff installed a 30amp into the garden in readiness for a SPA Hot Tub. The supply had to be connected to the existing consumer unit in a kitchen cupboard. It meant running armoured cable through the kitchen wall, through the garage and utility room. Once into the garden the cable was securely fixed and run to the required position. Jeff Patrick is a very skilful electrician. He is thorough, precise and produces neat exact results. He may not be the cheapest but as far as I am concerned I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone and certainly would use him again for any electrical work.

Despite the difficulties involved, Jeff opted to lay the cable from the new consumer unit in the garage to the cooker via a very narrow roofspace in order to hide the cabling as far as possible, and also to put the cooker switch in the back of a cupboard; his efforts meant that I was left with only a few centimetres of trunking in the corner of the room and no damage at all to the kitchen tiling. I'm very impressed with Jeff's thoughtful approach to finding the best solution to a problem. A friendly, quiet, tidy and efficient worker, it was a pleasure to have him in the house. Very highly recommended.

I had bought a light fitting from Spain and upon checking it, I found that it needed earthing and fitting itself looked far more complicated than I had bargained for. I found Jeff on the "Checkatrade" website and was impressed with the comments left by other customers. Jeff arrived on time and very quickly, got into the job that I had become very hesitant about doing myself. He is clearly knowledgeable about his trade and the manner in which he works is truly professional. Although the job didn't take him that long, there is no doubt that Jeff saved me many hours of difficulty and frustration and probably, numerous trips to Wickes for stuff that I didn't need or indeed will never use again! He made very little mess and cleared up the little that there was. His attention to detail was excellent, he made sure the light was "square" with the room and polishing the light afterwards. His price was very reasonable and he stuck to his original quote given on the phone. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that I will use Jeff again and will confidently recommend his to others. If only all tradesmen were like Jeff!!
