Having experienced the highs and lows of many builders in the past, I can honestly say that this is the best building firm I have ever come across. Ed and Phil were a great team, they were extremely friendly and respectful of the fact that they were working in my home, never treating it like a building site - not only that but Ed brought an industrial hoover with him on a Friday to clean the place up before leaving for the weekend! My hero! Ed and Phil came up with great suggestions. They are not just 'builders' they take a pride in their work - they are 'craftsman'. I would not hesitate to recommend them and can only thank them for the great job they have done. Truly lovely people.

Ed and his workers were very friendly, very punctual and stayed on the job until it was finished. They weren't on their mobile phones all the time and did a very good job in the time that they said they would do it in. I have no hesitation in employing them again and recommending them to others.

JLC provided us with a quote for a knock through for our living room and dining room and despite us not being able to proceed due to unforeseen costs (not associated with JLC's quote). However, JLC put a lot of time, effort and offered a lot of good advice during the process and we found them to be extremely professional and would certainly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing some building work.

This job was a complicated job and required extremely accurate brickwork. JLC carried out the work immaculately with excellent attention to detail. I have had a lot of experience of subcontractors and wouldn't have got the level of workmanship easily elsewhere. I would thoroughly recommend them. They are friendly, courteous, reliable impeccable with regards to time keeping and tidying. They were a pleasure to work with.
