Came out same day to look at job. Ordered new boiler and other parts and fitted it a couple of days later. Went out of his way to do it asap as it was freezing cold and the family had no heating. Did a great job at a reasonable price and was very tidy. Very knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble, will definitely use John again.

The morning after moving into our new house we woke up to no hot water or heating. A quick call to John Ennis Plumbing and Heating and a short wait John arrived. He fixed all my hot water and heating issues in no time at all and then I told him about the drain outside that looked full of water. After seeing that he wasted no time in pulling on his glove and pulling all the matter out of it. All the time showing a good sense of humour. He then popped back to solve the leaking kitchen sink we found later in the day. I'll be asking him back to move a radiator in the future. Very good service!

I had a gas heating boiler and a hot water cylinder in the bedroom wardrobes. Night time when I needed hot water for the baby, the water turns out to be cold most of the time. And I can't leave the water heating on 24/7 (bill). I had to switch over to a combi one as I have a small baby. John came down within an hour as I have already explained the situation to him. He is friendly, very polite and bought me a sandwich when he got himself one (shows how nice he is). He started the work on a Tuesday morning and finished on Wednesday by 1pm. He had lots to do but he did it in a professional way. He took out the water cylinder from the bedroom, installed new pipes for the combi boiler and cleared out all the other water tanks and pipes from the loft. The old boiler was in the kitchen, I asked john to put the new boiler under stairs, he did it without any issue and moved all the pipes to the new boiler. Price wise, he does an affordable price and I don't regret investing to the new boiler installed by John.

He was recommended to me by a work colleague who was very impressed by both the high standard of work, reliability and fair prices. I needed some work on the shower done as the sealant around the wall at the bottom was letting out water, which ultimately came through the ceiling in the living room. They quickly established what was needed and got stuck in, Very courteous, friendly and considerate (asked about noise since I have a young baby). Creative when they found it hard to get at the pipe! Saw something else which could potentially create the issue going forward (how the dishwasher pipe is fitted) and actually offered to fix it by going to the shop and buying a spare part and fitting it and just charged for the part. Really great.

We called John late Monday night and promptly the next morning two engineers arrived at 730 to fix our problem. The engineers pulled up the floorboards and went into our attic and were looking for the return valve . They left no stone unturned and fixed the problem . We now we have hot water , thank you very much.

Booked John at around 9:30am, got an estimated price for the work from him. He said he'd be on site sometime after 12:30. Arrived a little before 1pm. Drain was cleared, water jetted and tidied up by 13:30. Excellent work, can definitely recommend.

The job estimated for was more difficult and time consuming than at first thought but although I was warned that extra charge would be made in fact no extra charge was made. After other work is done the drain will need 'sleeving'. I shall definitely ask John to return to do this further work and thorouly reccommend his firm to others.

After months of other companies not being able to find what was wrong with my boiler Ennis Mechanical Services not only found the fault quickly but also repaired it efficiently. John was friendly and worked hard wasting no time in getting the job done. He kept me informed as he went along and did not carry out any work without my go ahead. John promised to be with me as soon as possible in the afternoon of my emergency call - and he was. He was determined to find and fix the fault and he did so very competently and efficiently. He is very professional and did everything with a smile and with such good grace. An all round really nice young man. Also, I had to ask him to repair my neighbour's boiler too which had developed a similar problem. He fitted that work into his busy schedule without a quibble. His charges were very fair and reasonable considering the time he was here. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely use his services again.
