New boiler and GCH system, new bathroom, plus other bits
I called John at 6pm on a Sunday evening and he was round the next day to give me a quote. I thought it was reasonable, so I gave him the go ahead. He seemed very knowledgable and was quick to work around problems, offering sensible advice and taking the time to explain things. John also did some excellent boxing in work that made all the difference to the finished effect in the bathroom. The old boiler cupboard was transformed into a useable storage space when he manufactured a new floor with timber. He finished it nicely with some left over carpet, and boarded over a hole in the side wall. Overall I'm very happy, and would recommend his services without hesitation.

Various plumbing repairs and replacing radiators
John carried out various jobs : replacing three rads, installing a new control and temperature guage for the boiler, replacing a pop-up plug, repairing a leaking tap and repair to a toilet cistern. Considering these works took best part of the day the cost was reasonable. He is a really nice bloke and we would definately use him again.

Power flushing of radiator
The job presented more of a challenge than others would because we have communal central heating in my block of flats. John soon grasped how things work here and dealt with the task with efficiency and courtesy. It wasn't possible carry out tests at the end, as he would have done if I had my own system but I felt confident that he had done a good job. Would use him again.

As rooms were being plastered. John removed 3 radiators and replaced after.
Was careful when draining radiators when removing from walls to avoid water spillage.

John James was a very helpful, honest, reliable and fair man. Replacement of immersion heater in hot tank
Mr James attended earlier than expected and completed the work to my complete satisfaction. My wife and I found him most courteous, quietly efficient and restored our only source of hot water within hours. I would recommend him highly.

Fixed toilet that wouldn't flush
No hesitation in recommending Mr James. He saved me money by promptly sourcing and replacing the faulty mechanism (another plumber recommended replacing the whole toilet). Convenient email communication too.
