They have done numerous projects for me including a 14.,000 sq.ft residence involving exterior and interior decorating requiring scaffolding and a cherry picker. Also a London flat decoration.

Lounge and dining room, vestibule and kitchen
Sourced from Checkatrade, came to give quote on time, a reasonable price, knowledgeable on products and time to carry out the work. At the commencement of work, they were punctual, careful in setting up and keeping furnishings and property covered. Very pleasant personalities, polite and good humoured even when we needed to change some of the work specification. Will use again as they are booked to do some more for us soon.

Kitchen re-furb and internal decoration
Having been very pleased with work the K&J team had done for me previously (complete refurb of a bedroom) I was very confident in using them again. This second job involved the refurb of my kitchen - replacement of worktops and skirting boards and the installation of new hob, oven and sink and re-painting. They also painted my lounge and dining room, hall/landing/stairs and another bedroom. Throughout all the work Kevin, John and Charlie were helpful, arrived on time and kept things as clean and tidy as possible. They also cheerfully coped with me changing my mind about paint colours/finishes and my additional requests for the supply and fit of coving and architrave. They go the extra mile to ensure that their customer is happy and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Plastering to conservatory and lounge. Fitting of air conditioning unit in conservatory, new floor installation in lounge, conservator and hall Painting and decorating lounge and conservatory - plus new lighting in lounge.
Firstly it would be good for people to know my husband and I have very high standards and we warned Kevin about our expectations prior to him taking on the job. Initially the job was just meant to be plastering the lounge and conservatory and fitting the air conditioning unit. As you can see the job expanded! If you choose to read on for a more detailed description please feel free but you could stop at this point - would we recommend - YES, all being well Kevin and the team will be back in the summer for the next project Hall, stairs, landing and Utility room and the next...
The team are always very courteous and we had a number of contractors from electricians, plasterers, decorators etc. A pleasure to have in our home! The workmanship was as I expected, even when there was a blip area on the plastering, nothing was too much trouble and it was sorted. I would also point out you could not see the blip until the lights were on at night but they were back immediately and resolved this for us.
Reliability and Time keeping - there when they said they would be! It is good to find a reliable company thank you Kevin and team.

Re-plastering and decoration of bedrooms, installation of wardrobes, installation of floating shelf and radiator
In my opinion II am very disappointed with most aspects of the work carried out. The painting I feel was done to a very poor standard with very little prep work being done with painting over old and flaking paint. They did not remove any radiators and there are spots of paint left over my windows, floor and glass fronted fridge and other surfaces. The wall paper was badly hung with tears concealed which I only noticed after paying for the work. I have had to make good some of the work myself. The floating shelf which they hung has been installed incorrectly and again has had to be corrected by myself. After fitting a radiator the trader managed to air lock the system, only to try and blame it on my boiler telling me I need to call out British Gas to look at it. I have since bled the system myself and once again it was fine. I would not recommend this company.

In response to the customers feedback. I feel that I have to disagree with their comments. Our work is carried out to our normal high standards as can be seen from our other positive feedback. There were a few snags that were brought to our attention on this job but these were resolved with the customer and they paid in full at the end of the job, if they were not happy why would they pay me? I was also complimented on my work and I was told that they were happy with the end result. I am surprised to see their comments and feel that if there was a problem that they would have given me the opportunity to put things right.

Fit and decorate new front door
