The work was superb, he is one of the few tradesmen I have dealt with who e-mails, returns phone calls and gives a time and sticks to it as to when he'll do the work.He was very good,careful and tidy.He tidied up well afterwards.The work itself is superb and to a very high quality and standard.The plaster is drying well and the ceiling now ready for decorating.I would have no hesitation in reccomending Kevin to family or friends.Excellent.

Kevin arrived within minutes of my telephone call and proceeded to explain to me in great detail how to do the repair myself, as he felt it didnt warrant the extent of replastering I envisaged. He even gave me some of the material required to do the job. He absolutely refused to take any money for his material or time. A thoroughly decent and honest tradesman.

Couldn't be happier. Turned out that our nursery ceiling was very fragile and needed boarding to be safe. We were happy (as well as lucky) that this was discovered early on and the added cost was not a great deal more thank quoted. The finished job looks amazing -it couldn't have been done by a nicer chap and we are happy to recommend him as well as to use him again.

Kevin gave a very fair estimate for a good job and was one third cheaper than another plasterer, whose quote was grossly over priced. Kevin arrived promptly on the date given and was professional and tidy. As a result of this piece of skimming, I had him back on the 18th April to skim all the walls in my lounge diner, three in my bedroom and one in the kitchen. I will ask him to quote skimming the walls of the last bedroom, when it is decorated next. My son has a good knowledge of the building trade and was here when the plastering was done. He recommended Kevin to his friend who was looking for a plasterer to plaster several walls in his house too. I also have a neighbour who needs all the walls in her house skimmed and she will be using Kevin for hers too.

Kevin turned up beaming with a smile, undertook a quote and emailed it to me promptly. Having agreed the price he turned up with his work mate and did a proper days work from 8 till gone five none of this pack up the tools by midday and off at two like my previous experiences. Some additions were made ...did he moan ...no did the job and told me the price. All his guys work really hard especially his apprentice Stuart who he clearly wants to install the same work ethic. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the crew to anyone, nothing was to much trouble. Top job lads. Its good to see some honest workman from my home town. Employ them, you wont be disappointed.

Kevan came around the same day I called to give me an estimate. He was very polite and his advice was clear and helpful. He wasn't put off by it being a fairly small job, like some others. He did his best to fit me in as soon as possible to make sure I wasn't without a kitchen for long. Value for money is no longer available for me to rate, but I would give 10/10 for definite, I had 4 quotes and Kevan was over £100 cheaper than the next lowest quote. The quality of work was superb, it's an old house where nothing was flat or straight but this didn't phase them at all, there was no problem that couldn't be overcome fuss free, which is a sign of experience. I would highly recommend K Burns Plastering Services, confident that they would not disappoint.

Kevan arrived late in the afternoon to give us a quote to repair damage to the ceiling and walls in the 'nursery' of my heavily pregnant daughter's new house. Realising that he was too busy to schedule in the required work in the tight time scale available to us, Kevan and his colleague set about doing what they could to help us 'make good' the damage. Amazingly in this 'day and age' Kevan refused any payment and gave us friendly and comprehensive advice on how to finish off the job.
