I am very pleased to recommend Kris and his staff. Thouroughly nice guys. I took quotes from 3 providers about 6 months ago and chose Krik because he appeared to be the most organised and thorough. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I thought he was the most professional. I am very happy with the results and he and he staff were courtious and hardworking throughout. We have used Kris on several occasions now and have always been very impressed - his quotes are accurate and reasonable and he gives good advice. His workers are extremely punctual, efficient, pleasant and trustworthy ( we often go out and leave them with the keys). They always tidy up each day and even vacuum. Highly recommended.

Having had a truly terrible experience when my flat was first decorated eight years ago I was very unsure about getting anyone in to do the work but lack of time meant that I needed to get someone in. I'm highly suspicious of people who seem too accommodating after my previous experience but Kris' conduct and workmanship was faultless. Kris is charming and friendly and he and his guys work very hard and are very thorough. I can't recommend him enough. My faith is restored and I'll be using Kris again soon as the house needs a lot of work …

Kris's team did a brilliant job and I would happily recommend them to anyone. We hired them to paint and decorate our entire house (jobs included plastering, tiling, sanding and painting woodwork, painting walls and ceilings, stripping paint, varnishing woodwork and decking, etc) and they didn't disappoint. Kris and the guys (Parva and Peter) were great, had originally booked for 25th Oct, but got a call from Kris asking if they could start the work early given the good clear weather of late. Definitely thought this was brilliant and showed a caring attitude towards both my schedule and their end result if rain was to come. Quote was well priced and competitive. Explained all the steps they would do i.E. Cut out dry rot, under coats, top coats etc Great time keeping and work ethic. Duck-tapped down their drop sheets both inside the front door and outside and had loads of them, so everything (carpet, sofa near door in case of sanding dust, paver's) was well protected. Finished the job well ahead of schedule which was pleasing. Overall Kris and the crew were great, friendly and thoughtful. Would definitely use them again. For all those that would like to hear negatives, if I had to think of some negatives, not that they are negatives exactly, rather points where they could have gone from good to great it would include: - a formal receipt (I got Kris to sign the quote stating that payment was made in full) - some minor paint brush 'rubs' around upstairs brickwork - since the quote included materials I would've thought that if the client requested that any left over paint from the job be left, then that would be the case. Unfortunately not. Though while mentioning these, none of them would sway me not to use them in the future. Brilliant job guys, Thanks. Rod.

We used Kris before a couple of years ago to do exterior painting to our house. His work was very good, and of a high standard so we recently called him back to redecorate our main bedroom. This involved striping one of the walls and the chimney breast back to the brickwork and replastering, putting up architrave and coving and then redecorating. The work was done on time, to the agreed price and to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending Kris and his team's work and plan to use them in the near future.

Kris gave a very reasonable quote, immediately on visiting, which compared favorably with others. A great bonus was that they had their own scaffold, so no extra cost there. The work was carried out professionally, tidily and on the date and for the duration agreed. The old paint was peeling all over and filling and repairs to the wood had to be done in places. The conservatory now looks lovely - sparkling as new - and no spots left on the glass. They also cleaned the guttering and decorative moulding below it. It really was money well spent. We will certainly be getting them back to do some interior and exterior work.

He was very courteous, charming and we thought he could be trusted. Unfortunately, we were disappointed Before laying the tiles there were issues over the lack of guarantee of workmanship. We reassured him by laying the tiles in front of him to show there was nothing wrong with the tiles. He asked for money before the job was complete. He claimed to be a perfectionist yet we had to ask him to come back to finish repairing and painting a high level fascia as agreed. He then said that the fascia was rotten and in need of replacement. Previously he said he could not finish it because he could not access it with a brush. I think he thought we could not check the fascia. We asked him to replace the boundary fence. He then decided to erect it too far into our land, without our approval. This was probably easier for him. He asked us to pay extra to rectify the mistakes he had made. All too stressful from a perfectionist!

Before laying the tiles I discovered that there were some manufacture differences between the black and white mosaic tiles. I suggested that the customer change these but they refused. I had asked for money in advance to cover the cost of materials, this is normal practice. The customer had asked me to build a fence that encroached onto the neighbour’s land, I refused to do this. I erected the fence in line with the original one. There were many elements of this project that were carried out free of charge, as a gesture of goodwill, but further into the project the customer began to take advantage of my good nature and wanted more and more works completed for free. When I declined he gave me the impression that he would leave me negative feedback. I didn’t feel this was fair and the relationship broke down. It is disappointing that this situation ended like this and that I felt he was attempting to blackmail me.

Was Contracted to paint the outside of my house. 8 months later I had reason to ask him back to look at the major paint bubbles over the front of the house and the 'ship-lapping' has cracked and opened up after having been filled. He took no responsibility for his work and told me that his work "is not guaranteed"

I have visited the customer to discuss the problem and discover that bubbles and cracked paint appear only on small part of front old wooden wall where bathroom is placed. I suspect the reason for the problem is water leak from bathroom or condensation after the finished work, also very low temperature last winter. The job was done with care and used appropriate materials, inspected and discussed with customer everyday. I don't think the problem the customer has discovered is fault of my job. After he left I noticed brown stains coming through woodwork and walls in porch, large paint drips on front door, paint on the hinges, Kitchen door and 3 cupboard doors do not shut and paint peeling from some of the doors.
