When I called he had just finished his first job and was more than happy to discuss my problem in some detail and at length. Our boiler went pear shaped at about 2pm and I was lucky an LWL heating engineer was working in our suburb that day. He was round in twenty minutes and made an excellent job of fixing it on the spot. He talked me through what had gone wrong, showed me what he was doing and didn't need payment on the spot because they send out invoices in the post. A truly excellent family firm I'd recommend to anyone. I've already tweeted about them and I'll gladly sing their praises to anyone who'll listen! They made a potentially stressful situation bearable. Very impressive. Thanks again!

Problem with the boiler over the weekend period. No hot water being supplied. After following the manual to try and reset the boiler ourselves with no joy we decided to contact a number of "emergency call out" engineers". Lee Stafford responded to our call immediately, whilst others failed to respond. He talked through the problem, checked through his own manuals and offered further advice to resolve the fault. He was very patient and helpful in manner and gave clear, concise instructions.....obviously very knowledgeable. We managed to resolve the fault with his assistance over the phone and get our hot water running again.  Even more fantastic that this did not cost a penny...Lee guided us through the process of what to do over the phone. Based on our experience of his telephone support we would have no hesitation in using his services again and most definately recommend him if you experience a faulty boiler.

Big thanks to Lee for the work completed in servicing our back boiler. We had been told by another unrelated company that the only solution was a replacement boiler, which with us three floors up in a listed building would have demanded extensive work and expense. After a month without hot water due to this incorrect diagnosis, when we subsequently contacted Lee he immediately showed his commitment to his profession by determining that a full service was all that was needed. The work was carried out in a very professional and timely manner, including additional work to reinforce the existing fittings. The invoice was extremely competitive, and we will certainly continue to use LWL heating for all our future needs.

As promised I received a service reminder from lwl heating office reminding me that my new boiler was due for the annual service. The visit was early morning as agreed and the engineer was earlier than expected and carried out the boiler service and completed the benchmark log book to activate the second year manufacture warranty. When I called Clare in the office to make payment she reminded me that the service was free of charge and was noted in the boiler change estimate. What honesty as I had completely forgotten. Will look forward to seeing them again next year.

Replacement of an old gas fire, alteration to the existing flue and installed new gas fire. The surround also had to be bricked and cemented and the finished result was fantastic (there's even a picture on this site). All this work was done while managing to keep a cream carpet clean! I would recommend Lee and his guys.

LWL Heating replaced my old boiler which was about 30 years old and converted the system and fitted a new vaillant condensing combi boiler. Lwl were clean and tidy and carried out the work as promised at the estimated amoount ,flushed and cleaned the system ,fitted magnaclean unit and did not even charge me for repairing a few leaks which were found on the existing systm pipework. I have used lwl since they carried out my boiler change and have reccommended lwl on several occassions to friends in my social circle who have also been extremely happy with the service of lwl heating. A great business and work as a team to get the job done and obviously hold customer care as a high priority

Despite heavy workload during extreme weather conditions the engineer came out the same day as called, and when the boiler failed a second time, an engineer returned during the evening - both visits despite being unable to park near the house, due to heavy snow, and having to haul a heavy toolkit some distance. I received a call from the office the next day to enquire whether everything still running satisfactorily. A service well above and beyond what I could have expected, even in fair weather conditions. Very impressed and would HIGHLY recommend.

We had used LWL Heating before for boiler servicing and maintenance and were satisfied with their reliability, quality of workmanship and invoicing as per their estimates. We were happy with all aspects of this work. They worked on the days agreed, they cleaned-up after themselves every day, they explained to us the work they were doing and how progress was being made. The final invoice was per the original estimate provided even though the job turned out to be slightly bigger than they had originally thought. They proved themselves to be particularly honest when they found a wallet containing almost £500 under a wardrobe which needed to be moved. The wallet belonged to the previous owner (deceased) and was returned to his relatives intact. We would recommend this company.
