Further problems identified while carrying out the work with regard to lead flashing which appeared damaged by squirrel activity. This was pointed out at the time of the tile repair work and having seen photographs of the damage a further appointment was arranged for the work to be carried out having received an acceptable quotation. All the work seemed to be carried out effectively, punctually and in a tidy manner. Should future work be required on the roof I would certainly employ this company.

Jimmy was very quick to respond to my query and his estimate was extremely competitive (in fact he was significantly cheaper than another trader on here who quoted me double the amount to replace just 3 tiles!). Work was done very quickly and he got me some spare tiles too as mine are an end of line. All in all a very nice bunch of guys, and would thoroughly recommend them.

I called for advice on Saturday lunchtime after discovering a leaking roof, Jim came around a couple of hours later, explained what needed doing complete with photo. He made a temporary repair and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Jim and Chris came back the next day to carry out the repairs to the roof and to clean the moss off the tiles (on a very wet day). He spotted a problem with the guttering which we had been aware of for some time but hadn't got around to fixing, and solved that one too, all included in the original price. Fantastic service and very friendly too.

Initially I gave Jim and his team a favourable review but I have been unable to get a guarantee for the work done, despite Jim agreeing to provide one from both himself and Firestone on several occasions. This is particularly worrying as one of the roofs has an air bubble which I would like looked at.

Restored my faith in tradesmen! Phoned in the morning about a fallen roof slate. Jim had a look that afternoon, without me needing to be there. A phone call that night to agree the price and he fixed it the day after. Only a small job, but the response was superb, the price for a 'trivial' bit of work was fair and the overall service great. It's an old house, with continual demands for roof work. I now would not dream of using anyone else for future work.

Reliable, friendly and extremely tidy. I called them to repair a small section of roof by the front door but they noticed a lot more that was wrong. I was very impressed how thoroughly they took the time to show me exactly what needed to be done and where it was not possible for me to see the damage on the roof they took pictures. This meant that I wasn't left wondering if they were adding extra work just for the sake of it. Even after all this the job still turned out to be more than they originally envisaged but they kept to their original estimate. These guys did a super job and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Jim has turned out to be our guardian angel! We moved into this house about a year ago. We had moisture in our attic and suspected leaks. So I recently got round to hiring a roofer to fix them. He did a great job and was very professional! But the next day after a rainy night, we had a leak on our interior ceiling. Jim came out straight away when we called him. He was sure it couldn't be the roof this time. And he was right, after he investigated the cause of water in our attic, he found the flue from our boiler was not connected properly to the vent. With all the roof holes fixed, this meant the fumes/water and carbon monoxide were just building up in our attic! Jim then called his friend a plumber to come round. He confirmed the worst. I dread to think what could have happened if Jim hadn't come out straight away to investigate! Thank you!
