Very please with the work. Harry Lawson visited before giving a quote, discussed the requirements carefully and provided a detailed (and very reasonable) quotation. Replacement washer on garden tap
I arrived home late this afternoon to find water gushing out of garden tap and the beginnings of a flood. I identified Hammond and Lawson as being local to me on Checkatrade and phoned at about 17.30. A plumber was here within 20 minutes, replaced the failed washer and charged a very reasonable price - no emergency call out fee. Also gave advice about insulating the tap in winter. Prompt, efficient and courteous service. Would definitely use again.

Leak Detection
This company responded quickly to the situation - they came the next day and detected the leak from a mains pipe. They were there at 8am the next morning to repair the leak, and an hour and a half later you wouldn't have know they were they there. They even washed the floor to clean up where dust had come down from the plaster board.

New boiler, installation of plumbing system for two bedrooms, two bathrooms and all associated fittings. Install under floor heating. Pipe work.
The installation of pipe work was not carried out with sufficient care and skill. We have had to have all the pipes taken out to start again. We await repayment of the monies paid.

The Job was started and all of the materials and the process of installation had been discussed with the customer before the work was started, all of the materials that were used were to current BS standards and the installation was in line with the water regulations. The relationship broke down and we mutually agreed to leave the job in good faith, we have given the customer a refund ( less costs incurred ). We pride ourselves on the quality of workmanship that we do, as you can see from all of our other feedback..
