Hello, my names Darren and I run this small landscaping outfit that is Libra Building & Landscaping. I have 10 years experience in this line of work, I also have various experience in building projects such as extensions, garages, and conservatories but my specialty is hard landscaping, such as paving, brickwork, fencing, decking, and lawns.

We take a huge amount of pride in our work. We will always try to work in the most efficient manner to execute the job within a reasonable time scale, without of course compromising on the quality of the workmanship.


Estimates are of course free and I am more than happy to come and have a look at your garden and throw lots of helpful suggestions to help you get the best out of your garden, whatever your budget!

Garden Decking and Outbuilding

I telephoned Darren after he completed a patio next door. He had done a super job and had been extremely courteous with the deliveries etc. He went on to do a fab job, I am so thrilled with my new decking, just need some sun!!!! Many thanks Darren for being so professional and polite.

Make-over back half of terraced-house garden

We saw the good job Darren had done at a neighbours house, and asked him to quote. Although fairly young, Darren clearly understands his trade. He made creative suggestions of his own, but listened carefully when we had particular requirements. The work was finished pretty much within the estimated time (about 2 weeks) and to a very good standard, despite setbacks which included a nasty accident to Darren's hand. We were very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend Darren to others, nor to invite hm to quote us for further work.

Relay path to front door

Paving bricks layed as edging to a lawn

Work was done on the day arranged, even though the weather would have kept most builders away. The job was completed as wanted, and he even went beyond the call of duty to suggest a preferable way of doing it which I agreed with. Thanks a lot Darren.

Paving, extensive decking, pond edging, tree removal

Darren is honest, courteous, friendly and extremely reasonable in terms of his very fair pricing policy. He always listened to our requirements and added his own suggestions. He is very professional, extremely hard working, taking great care to do the job well whilst working very long hours to keep to an agreed timescale. Our garden is so much better now! We will definitely keep Darren's number for any future work and would thoroughly recommend him without hesitation.

Fantastic job!!- Darren worked diligently with some awkward areas to pave.  The colours and the selection of stones match the wall perfectly. The fitting of a new manhole cover that matches the paving is superb. He kept me informed and listened to my requirements and also gave great advice.  I am very pleased with the results and will recommend him to friends and family needing any gardening works. I'm looking to use him for some works in my back garden in a couple of months time.  He is not only easy to work with but very polite and friendly. I've got the best front garden on my street now .One of the neighbours passing by has also booked him up.  I think that speaks for itself. Thanks Darren.
