L.M.R Building Services Ltd is a newly formed company registering in December 2010. Although newly formed all connected with L.M.R Building Services Ltd have around 20 years experience in the building trade .

Hi my names Liam Ryan my building experience started 20 years ago as an apprentice bricklayer. After working more than 10 years on larger developments I made the change to work for small building companies, this simply fuelled my existing ambition of setting up my own company and giving the customer simply what I believe they want and rightly expect, a company that delivers work of high standard with great customer care at competitive rates.

Having started up L.M.R.Building services with the knowledge and experience I’ve picked up on both the building and customer service side I am pleased to be able to offer another honest and reputable building service within the area. 

We at L.M.R Building Services carry out all aspects of general building from kitchens and bathrooms to new builds.

The building work was performed very quickly within the time frame set out. I was updated regularly with progress reports. All of the builders were polite and courteous. And I am more than happy with the quality of the work.

Two storey extension.
High recommendation indeed. High quality tradesmen. Polite and courteous always. Excellent communication with us at all times so we always knew what was happening. I was able to go to work and not worry about security. High quality work, on time and within budget. I am delighted with my new kitchen diner, bedroom and bathrooms.

Bathroom, cloakroom, shower.
This was really two projects linked by the main waste pipe: reconfigure the bathroom and create a shower from a cupboard to extend the cloakroom. The planning took quite a while for us to sort out what we wanted with Liam's guidance and assistance about use of space, pricing, etc but once we had decided and agreed the price things moved quickly. We have ended up with a 'showroom' standard bathroom which make much better use of limited space than when the house was originally constructed, and a cloakroom/shower room of similar quality which makes life so much easier in a house of four adults. I have marked down for reliability and timekeeping: one of Liam's team let him down, and the plumber seemed to like short days (although the quality of his work was very good). We have used Liam's firm before and if we have any other large projects he will be top of our list.

Bathroom conversion to walk in shower.
Every one was polite and willing to explain or discuss the work. Problems were dealt with and work rescheduled to accommodate both parties. Every effort was made to limit the disruption to water supplies and heating systems. Job well done!

Laid laminate flooring and redecorated bedroom
We had used Liam before so we knew we would get a good quality service for a good price and we weren't disappointed. Our only surprise was that the team of Lee and Steve finished the job in less time than we had been told. We will certainly use Liam again.

Replacement ceilings

Conversion of bathroom to bedroom and building a new bathroom
Liam is a brilliant project manager, he used a highly skilled team of craftsmen who all worked to a high standard, were polite and courteous. He is very customer focused and is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that the job meets or exceeds customer expectations - nothing was too much trouble. I recommend this company.

Block paving driveway
Liam and his team did a flawless job, pointing out the difficulties of making a driveway on a hill and then overcoming them with complete professionalism. The result is stunning. LMR is a very easy company to deal with and I would have no hesitation in going straight to them for my next building job.

Change to layout of two rooms (opening/closing archways/doors) and redecoration of three rooms
We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the project management by Liam. [I don't give 10s freely; 35/40 is a very high score for me.] Our project involved the closure of an archway and doorway, the opening of a closed doorway, construction of an under stairs cupboard, installation of wooden flooring and decoration of two rooms and hall and landing. This was completed within two weeks, to schedule as planned.
