Lucas Electrics is a small, family run firm and we understand the importance of providing a professional service that meets the needs of all our customers.

This means that we are reliable, efficient and friendly in all our dealings. Crucially, we are able to keep our prices competitive and labour costs free of VAT.

Mathew Carver, head of Lucas Electrics is an NAPIT approved electrician.

He has been qualified for 20 years. During this time he has undertaken everything from complete hospital refits to changing domestic light switches. Originally from Australia, Mathew now lives in Brighton with his family.

Lucas Electrics will undertake all domestic electrical work. We have never come across anything that we can't handle in the home and are glad of a challenge! We offer rewiring, downlights, consumer units, safety testing and telephone points and much, much more.

We also carry out commercial and industrial installations, offering expertise in air conditioning, fire detection and emergency lighting systems as well as periodic inspection, PAT testing and general rewiring.

As specialists in home and building automation, we offer a range of systems to cover all areas of the market. Using the experience of our associate Professional Certified Designers we are able to deliver all sizes of project from apartments to country estates

Re position of ceiling light pendant to above dining table to have low rise light in the area. Removal of the two existing light pendants.

I found Matthew to be reliable, informative and stuck to the promise of 'no job has beat him yet' ! A very neat and tidy job completed to my very high standards. Well done fella !!

Found fault in power supply which kept going down

They came at once and quickly isolated the problem and checked all the power outlets. Fitted a new socket outlet to the garden where the problem of damp had caused the power failure. They came when organised and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. I like the way they phoned me to check on the situation after they had isolated the problem. Excellent and friendly service.

New fuse box, bathroom light and light switch fitted

Matthew did a fantastic job, his quote was very competitive and what he quoted was what he charged. He explained everything very clearly and the work was completed much faster than I was expecting. All in all a very good experience with Lucas Electrics, would highly recommend.

Amazing service! My girlfriend called them on the Tuesday night and they came the next day to fit our new light. They were punctual, friendly and went the extra mile in everything they did. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.
