They came at once and quickly isolated the problem and checked all the power outlets. Fitted a new socket outlet to the garden where the problem of damp had caused the power failure. They came when organised and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. I like the way they phoned me to check on the situation after they had isolated the problem. Excellent and friendly service.

Following on from issues arising from the electrical safety check that Matthew did a couple of weeks ago. Again, the guys were on time, and finished well ahead of schedule. There was an issues with fire alarms but Matthew was quickly able to source a suitable alternative, and other issues such as suitably housing the new circuit board were quickly resolved with minimum fuss. I contacted Lucas Electrics on Thursday 14 Oct explaining that I had a problem with the lighting circuit downstairs in my house as it kept tripping. For safety reasons I left it tripped but it included my kitchen, bathroom lights and fan so I was keen to get it back up and running asap. They said they could get there at 10:00 on Fri 15 Oct, with a possibility of looking at the job on Thurs afternoon. Mathew asked me to phone on the Thursday to see how they were progressing with a job which was great as I knew what was happening. On Fri morning they reviewed the job, gave me a basic maximum verbal quote and then came back later on with the parts, fully assessed the problem, checked the circuit and completed the work. Mathew was honest, flexible, tidy and gave a detailed explanation of the job. Although the job was not big it was urgent because of the safety issue involved and Mathew acknowledged this and accommodated the job into his busy schedule. I will definitely be happy to consider using Lucas Electrics for a larger job like when I need to get my rewiring done.

The building survey of the property I am currently buying highlighted some issues with the electrics and recommended that I engage an electrician to perform the necessary tests.
