Hello my name is Luke Broderick. I joined Checkatrade in November 2011 for the sole purpose of obtaining more of my own work rather than working for kitchen companies, so I can ensure the quality and full service is of an excellent standard.
A bit of background on myself - I left school in 1987 and was fortunate enough to get a apprenticeship with a high class joinery in Bagshot, Surrey. They allowed me to attend Guildford Tec 1 day and 1 evening a week to improve my knowledge and skills. My place of work had 7 highly skilled joiners making anything from oak staircase's to bespoke furniture. All items made were of a very high standard due to the type of cliental such as Houses of Parliament and wealthy individuals. I qualified as a joiner in 1990 and continued working at the joinery for another 3 years. It was at this point I decided to go it alone as a self employed joiner/carpenter. For the last 14 years I have been fitting kitchens mostly, along with bedrooms/bathrooms. The last 2 years I have been supplying good quality kitchens/bedrooms, the type of which you would find at your local kitchen showroom.
I have been able to supply the same kitchens with considerable savings to my clients!

Fitted kitchen, tiling, installation of appliances.
Luke was fantastic from start to finish! Extremely friendly and polite on the phone, provided an extremely competitive quote and was clearly very knowledgeable and experience, advising me on how I might do thinks differently, or what would work better. When it came to carrying out the work, Luke and one of his guys would arrive promptly at the arranged time each morning, and if early, would wait in the van until agreed time, before knocking and starting work for the day. This sort of courtesy typify' s Luke's manner. They work extremely tidy and kept mess to a minimum as far as possible, cleaning, sweeping up and wiping down any mess at the end of each day. Luke completed all aspects of the kitchen installation (gas hob connection, plumbing in sink, dishwasher, tiling, all electrics etc) so really is a one stop shop and made the whole experience completely hassle and stress free! The final result is an amazing new kitchen, completed to a very high standard! We couldn't be more pleased or recommend Luke and his team highly enough! 10/10 of across the board!

Supplied and fitted new kitchen.
Luke Broderick supplied and fitted a new kitchen for me including re-plastering the ceiling, tiling both the walls and floors. My kitchen is quite small and Luke came up with some very good ideas to make the most of the space available. I have gained a lot more storage space. He kept me well informed throughout the project. I found him a very pleasant person and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

New kitchen and utility room.
Excellent fitting and expert advice. We were really pleased with the end result. Luke completed a full refit of our kitchen, including installing new sinks and appliances. He also arranged for the lighting and electrical work to be done. Would recommend Luke for any further work. His attention to detail was a real strength. He was also very polite and kept to his schedule, tidying up at the end of each day to minimise the disruption.

Full kitchen installation.
Luke and his team did a great job removing our old kitchen and sourcing and installing the new one. He was friendly and polite throughout, gave excellent advice and very fairly priced the work. New kitchen.
Luke was courteous, polite and friendly! Something you want if someone is in your house for a week. Luke takes a pride in his work and is very meticulous about getting the details right. As well as fitting the kitchen, his estimate included re plumbing for the washing machine and tumble dryer, fitting the oven and hob and putting a door on the front of the boiler so it looks exactly like another cupboard. We had our own electrician but Luke will supply one if needed. We had quotes from the big sheds and Luke’s was much more competitive than theirs and in my opinion, the kitchen company he uses for the units is much better quality. All in all we are delighted with the work that Luke did. Our kitchen looks great and having seen Luke at work, I know how well put together it is. I would thoroughly recommend Luke to anyone thinking of having a kitchen fitted.

Kitchen update/pantry removal renew worktops and change all doors.
Luke did a fantastic job, very punctual, very tidy and did a good clean up on completion. My kitchen is now modern and looks like new although I have only had doors replaced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Luke. His work is first class. His advice is good and nothing is too much trouble.
