Excellent value for money. Mac was very helpful with the choice of style and colours of units, worktops and tiles. Very good to find somebody who is so enthusiastic about what they do and this shows in the quality of finish. We were kept informed of timescales and these were kept to very well. If you are planning to have a new kitchen or bathroom we would very highly recommend M and J Kitchens.

We had never undertaken the project of re-newing a bathroom before and Mac talked us through how we could set out our en-suite in a better format to enable a larger shower cubicle. The work carried out was to a high standard and looks amazing. We were introduced to the plumber and tiler who worked alongside Mac who were equally professional. Peter his tiler was brilliant and have had many comments about how wonderful his work is!

Mac made an absolutely wonderful job of installing our new kitchen. He was a pleasure to deal with all the way through the project and managed all the other trades involved with an expertise that is rare to see nowadays. One of the family works nights and the disruption was kept to a minimum and we thank him whole heartedly for that. No job or extra item was too much trouble and changing items like the layout at the last minute must have made it difficult at times. Both my wife and I would not hesitate to recommend M and J Kitchens to anyone who is thinking of having a new kitchen fitted, we would even go as far to say that if you don't get Mac in to give you a quote for the work you need your head examining.

We are delighted with the new bathroom that Mr Carter has just finished installing. The whole job, which involved plumbing, electrical, plastering and tiling work, has been done to a very high standard at a reasonable price with a minimum of fuss. A few years ago we had a quotation from a nationally advertised company which we are now glad we declined because we have saved thousands by engaging M and J Kitchens to do the work and achieved a far better result than anticipated.

Mac fitted a new kitchen and bedroom 3 years ago, and we had no hesitation in asking him to fit our new bathroom. In all three rooms, the work and fittings were to a very high standard, with quality workmanship. Very reliable and tidy- note he works best when supplied with chocolate biscuits.

Having been delighted with the new kitchen that Mr Carter fitted four years ago, we knew he would be our first choice this time for the refurbishment of our utility room. As before, the work was of a high standard: the units, work top, sink and tiling are excellent, perfectly fitted and the job completed with a minimum of fuss and in a cheerful manner. The price charged was very reasonable for this quality level of workmanship.

Mac Carter undertook the complete replacement of our 1980's bathroom and the outcome is superb. His attention to detail is exceptional and his recommendations for fittings and finishings made a huge difference to the final outcome. Mac is a very accomplished and skilled worker with huge experience that makes all the difference. He works in is a very clean way leaving the room tidy and vacuumed every day. A pleasure to have in the house, I would highly recommend Mac for most types of building project (he has now done two for us and is shortly to start on a garden building scheme for us).

Why can't all tradesman be like Mr Carter, he looked after our project from start to finish, we cannot fault his craftsmanship, the project took around five weeks which was as expected. Mr Carter is courteous, thorough, very trustworthy and a perfectionist, we will definitely be using M and J again. We now have the dream kitchen we have waited for. We cannot recommend enough.
