MB Design Services was set up in 2002 and has grown steadily since then, gaining work through recommendations from both previous customers and builders.

We specialise in the production of high quality planning and building regulation drawings for extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and new build properties  Projects range from small single storey extensions to large individually designed houses and major developments for national house builders.

Planning permission at 98a Thornton Ave, W4 London

MB Design were commissioned to measure our current flat and produce drawings and apply for planning permission for a conversion. Whilst they carried out all of the above they in my opinion grossly failed to establish if the plans would be well received by the planners, in  advance. In fact they undertook the project with the knowledge they would  probably fail, as their plans are dramatically different to what the council  would permit. So no  pre-plan discussion was done. They simply did the work to  get paid with little or no chance of success. A very unprofessional company, I would not recommend  them.

MB Design initially prepared the planning drawings which we believed could achieve planning permission. However the client asked us to dramatically change the scheme and the application was submitted on his instruction. Subsequently planning permission was refused. Following the refusal we were in liaison with the planning officer and had emailed revised drawings to him for his comment, when the client asked for a full refund or he would post negative feedback about our company. We were attempting to resolve the situation and so we do not believe that this is a fair representation of our service to this customer
