 M.D.Collins & Sons is a small family run business formed in 1999. My own background includes panel control wiring, major school, local authority projects, 10 years marine electrical installations with the RNLI  and design and installation of 3 phase industrial installations.

Both my sons are fully qualified electricians who also have great experience with renewable energy technologies and heating control systems.

All of our works are fully guranteed, insured and we are full members of the N.I.C.E.I.C as a result all works are fully certificated in accordance with current rules and regulations.

As a small local business we offer a very competitive, friendly and prompt service and will readily quote for any large or minor works.

Fit two new flush double 13A power points in bedroom.

Worked very efficiently, very clean and tidy. Started on time and didn't stop until work completed. Very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend.

Replace fuse box, upgrade electrics and issue certificate.

Mike, his sons and his assistant arrived bang on time. On inspection, Mike told us we didn't need as much doing as we thought, and immediately reduced the quote. They upgraded all switches and light fittings and fitted a new porch light. They also added an extra 13A socket that we only requested on the day. Thoroughly professional and friendly. Left everything clean and tidy, finished early.

Emergency with main cable causing complete lack of all power to the house.

Mike and his sons were absolutely fantastic! They cancelled work to make sure that they got our power on as soon as they could. It was just before Christmas and we had to move out while power was restored. They liaised with EDF and other parties to ensure that the job was done and have provided a quote to do subsequent work. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Check consumer unit.

Called (phone) them on 31/10/2012 with a wiring issue. They came out the next day. Diagnosed the problem with in five minutes sorted it out, also installed a extra spur. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and if I need to use an electrician again they will be my first port of call. Excellent. Thanks.
