Repair Toilet
Toilet work is never pleasant. MDH Building and Decorating did not baulk at the problem and dealt with it quickly and efficiently. They left the small room in a spotless condition, and we now have a fully functioning toilet. I can not praise Mark and his side-kick Murry highly enough. No fuss, no bother, just got on with the job and left quietly.

Repair
What do you do when your toilet develops a leak, and there are no plumbers? In my case, I went to my preferred builder. Mark all but dropped tools to sort my problem out. He sent his trusty assistant Murray who diagnosed the problem, and the pair fixed it on their return. I cannot praise M D H Building And Decorating enough. They never made a fuss and turned my disaster into a fully functioning toilet. What is more, there were no emergency call-out fees, and their bill was moderate. Thank you, Mark and Murray. You are a credit to your profession.

Fixing fallen brickwork and installing upvc doors
Mark and his team fitted new French doors and 2 windows. They also fixed the brickwork above the doors. I was really impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail. They are friendly, tidy and polite and they came in on budget. I’d thoroughly recommend Mark and his team.

Roofing, removal of chimney and chimney breast, soundproofing of walls, docorating
Mark's work is of a very high standard. He has done a number of jobs for me and I always go back to him for anything that needs doing. He is very courteous and explains everything clearly. He expertly solves problems that emerge because of the structure of the house and takes on any extras that come up. I can recommend him 100%

Garage and utility room conversion
The project was completed within the estimated 4 weeks ( before and after lockdown) and the end result was to a high standard and with great attention to detail. I am very satisfied with the end result and would recommend Mark to anyone who was looking for someone to carry out building works.

Shower repair, open up new hatch door in a brick wall
Mark and assistant Murray were excellent. They opened up a bricked-in under-stairs area to create a small cupboard, where we found a waterpipe leak which had been running into our walls and foundations for years. Aside from making a good job of restoring shower and new cupboard, they stopped the leak, dried and made good a very damp and nasty area. It added a lot of work for them, but they added very little to what was already a very fair cost for the job. I will definitely engage them again, full marks from me (I gave them a 9 for timing, just because they started the job later than planned)
