Kitchen complete re-fit.

Good price, very in depth quote generated quickly, with breakdown of individual costs of parts/labour as well as expected time frame of work to be done. The trader was very punctual, courteous and professional, stayed late on a number of occasions to ensure work was finished in accordance with original quote rather than allowing job to overrun too long. Always onsite to manage other tradesmen, and even gave good advice/help with other on-going jobs in the house. Finished kitchen looks really good, very pleased with end result. The trader was really nice, professional, competent, tidy and courteous throughout the job. However, the electrician he used was in my opinion frustratingly unprofessional. The customer should receive a certificate of registered installation (v important). Despite several prompts by myself both via email and phone, this was not received after 2 months had passed at which point it transpired that he had not even submitted the paperwork. Had to return to re-do the electrical readings. Even after this, it took a further 2 months of constant chasing by me for him to submit the paperwork required. I finally received the certificate yesterday, over 4 months after the job was finished. Mike, who had been so good during the whole job, was disappointingly very different after I had paid the final amount at the end of the job and really passed up all responsibility for the tradesman he had brought to the job. Rob also drilled through a single-skin brick wall with far too much gusto causing cracks to appear in the adjacent room - didn't apologise, just said "I thought it was double skin wall" and carried on like it was perfectly normal. He just had a generally very poor attitude. I honestly would definitely recommend this company - but definately 1: with a different electrician and 2: written assurance regarding whose responsibility it is for ensuring tradesmen.

I have used Rob the Electrician for over 4 years and at no time have I ever had any customer complaints regarding his quality of work, attitude, professionalism or timing of supplying certification for his work, unfortunately on this occassion he was in between changing registration bodies although the works were registered, they took longer than normal to come through and this had been explained to the customer. Additional work was completed by both of us at no extra charge for either Labour or Materials (additional socket for microwave & supply and fit architrave).I also feel that the scores given for Courtesy & Reliability do not reflect not only my average scoring but the work completed at the customers property.

Refit of bathroom and cloakroom

Mike refitted our bathroom and cloakroom to an excellent standard. He assisted us to choose appropriate hardware after assisting with redesigning the bathroom to allow for optimum layout including installation of a shower cubicle. Everything including the tiling was expertly measured and allowed for a smooth experience. The areas were left clean and tidy each evening and we were kept fully informed of the intended order of work so that disruption to our lives was minimised. We went away for a few days whilst a large part of the work was carried out and had no worries about leaving Mike with a key. Paul made an excellent job of the tiling and gave good advice on the best tiles to choose. We have used this company on several occasions now and have always been pleased with all aspects of the work, offering good value for money, honest workmanship, reliability and ability to give good advice on the best way forward to complement the property.

I am so pleased with my new bathroom; fantastic workmanship. Mike made very useful suggestions and recommendations before and during the work, adapting plans as the work progressed. Mike and his team are really friendly and easy to get on with.

Painting of outside of property

Mike arranged for scaffolding to be both erected and dismantled at appropriate times. He carried out restorative work to chimney stacks and repainted house to an excellent standard. This was a large job and work needed to complement the 200 year age of house. Everything was left clean and tidy and we were extremely pleased with the outcome.

Mike' s work is superb. I would highly recommend Mike to anybody. Mike provided a full service including a superb Electrician who was also neat and tidy and professional in his work. I will definately be inviting Mike to carry out further work.
