Good price, very in depth quote generated quickly, with breakdown of individual costs of parts/labour as well as expected time frame of work to be done. The trader was very punctual, courteous and professional, stayed late on a number of occasions to ensure work was finished in accordance with original quote rather than allowing job to overrun too long. Always onsite to manage other tradesmen, and even gave good advice/help with other on-going jobs in the house. Finished kitchen looks really good, very pleased with end result. The trader was really nice, professional, competent, tidy and courteous throughout the job. However, the electrician he used was in my opinion frustratingly unprofessional. The customer should receive a certificate of registered installation (v important). Despite several prompts by myself both via email and phone, this was not received after 2 months had passed at which point it transpired that he had not even submitted the paperwork. Had to return to re-do the electrical readings. Even after this, it took a further 2 months of constant chasing by me for him to submit the paperwork required. I finally received the certificate yesterday, over 4 months after the job was finished. Mike, who had been so good during the whole job, was disappointingly very different after I had paid the final amount at the end of the job and really passed up all responsibility for the tradesman he had brought to the job. Rob also drilled through a single-skin brick wall with far too much gusto causing cracks to appear in the adjacent room - didn't apologise, just said "I thought it was double skin wall" and carried on like it was perfectly normal. He just had a generally very poor attitude. I honestly would definitely recommend this company - but definately 1: with a different electrician and 2: written assurance regarding whose responsibility it is for ensuring tradesmen.

I have used Rob the Electrician for over 4 years and at no time have I ever had any customer complaints regarding his quality of work, attitude, professionalism or timing of supplying certification for his work, unfortunately on this occassion he was in between changing registration bodies although the works were registered, they took longer than normal to come through and this had been explained to the customer. Additional work was completed by both of us at no extra charge for either Labour or Materials (additional socket for microwave & supply and fit architrave).I also feel that the scores given for Courtesy & Reliability do not reflect not only my average scoring but the work completed at the customers property.

Mike refitted our bathroom and cloakroom to an excellent standard. He assisted us to choose appropriate hardware after assisting with redesigning the bathroom to allow for optimum layout including installation of a shower cubicle. Everything including the tiling was expertly measured and allowed for a smooth experience. The areas were left clean and tidy each evening and we were kept fully informed of the intended order of work so that disruption to our lives was minimised. We went away for a few days whilst a large part of the work was carried out and had no worries about leaving Mike with a key. Paul made an excellent job of the tiling and gave good advice on the best tiles to choose. We have used this company on several occasions now and have always been pleased with all aspects of the work, offering good value for money, honest workmanship, reliability and ability to give good advice on the best way forward to complement the property.

Mike arranged for scaffolding to be both erected and dismantled at appropriate times. He carried out restorative work to chimney stacks and repainted house to an excellent standard. This was a large job and work needed to complement the 200 year age of house. Everything was left clean and tidy and we were extremely pleased with the outcome.

Excellent communications, all work carried out in time frame given, due to the extent of the damage, the workmen were with me for over three weeks and a lot of the work to be carried out was extremely messy and disruptive, and yet everyday the house was left in as tidy a condition as possible for me to come home to after work. All of the workmen involved were totally respectfully to my neighbours especially as I have a shared drive. I would not hesitate in using this company again and would certainly recommend then.

An excellent workman. We had a very specific request with some difficult problems which he came up with some excellent solutions. The extra workmen he bought in to cover the areas he was not an expert in (i.E gas fitter)were all of a very high standard and his project management was superb. They were all polite and the area was always left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Every effort was taken to minimise dust and disruption to the rest of the house. We were consulted at every stage to ensure we were happy with the work and any unforeseen problems were discussed before any action taken. I have already recommended him to my friends and we are having additional work done in another area very soon.

This is the third time Ive used Mike and I can always say Im happy with the end result. I like that I can give Mike keys and he can be trusted to be in my home alone. From rotten floorboards to badly laid floor and tiles mike turned this awful cloakroom room into once again a room that has been finished to such a high standard. He is always very tidy and keeps you informed at all times if any issues come up, saying that he is also the first to come up with pratical solutions. I would never hesitate to recommend.

I can't fault Mikes attention to detail. He approaches problems with solutions and offers helpful advice when needed. The space was quite limited and therefore it was great to have someone that was extremely tidy. I felt completely relaxed leaving Mike alone in my property and was extremely pleased with his friend Paul who completed the tiling to such a high standard. I would highly recommend them both and would use them again in the future. Having recently moved to Peacehaven, I had the misfortune to employ a non “check a trade” plumber, I contacted Mike to rectify the work, which included: disconnecting existing connections and capping redundant hot and cold water supply, rectifying the tiling around the bath installation, replacing hardboard under the sink in the bathroom, replacing mastic around bath and sink. Mike carried out the work thoroughly and conscientiously. I will definitively employ Mike again should I need to do so and recommend him to anyone requiring a high quality plumber at fair prices.
