Even though the initial work was undertaken in 2004 and that the home had since got new owners this company promptly came to replace a holed gutter section at no cost under their warranty agreement. Even though the hole was caused by a dropped beach stone they honoured the warranty.

Some months after the installation of new gutters, facias and soffits I thought I'd discovered a problem. I called Michael and explained the problem and he prompted arrived, dead on time to investigate. I was completely wrong and it turned out that the real problem was leaking lead flashing, something that was nothing at all to do with the work he did for me. He not only fixed the problem on the spot but all he would take for his troubles (having driven from Worthing to Fareham) was a cup of tea! I could not recommend MP Plastics more highly. They are truly excellent professionals.

I am a very fussy lady had quite a few other quotes, m p plastics were one of the cheapest, so was a bit worried as cheaper is not always best, anyway after reading Checkatrade reports I employed m p plastics to carry out conservatory, need not have worried Michael called round and talked to me, measured up, did not hear from him again, the other companies kept pestering me with phone calls. Michael started work on agreed date, carried out work did not go off and start other customer jobs till he completed my property, there were no problems at all, I need not have worried, Michael and his team are outstanding,& very polite, not once did they use my toilet as they have chemical toilet in van. This company should be 11 out of 10,as they go the extra mile to satisfy the customer, thank you Michael, good luck for the future. 7

We were recommended Michael by one of our neighbours and after checking his feedback and very competitive quotation we accepted his proposal. We were away on holiday when the work was carried out, but a family member visited the premises out of working hours. She reported that the premises were left in a tidy manner overnight. On our return from holiday we found the work had been completed and the premises left in good order. We are not able to comment on the time keeping as we were not at home, but we do know that the work was started on the agreed day. On our return Mr Payne came to visit us to get our opinion of work done. And to deliver the Certificate of Guarantee. We would definitely use his firm again.

We are the 3rd in our close to employ MP Plastics to fit soffits and fascia - after watching and examining their first installation in the close recently. They are extremely punctual, tidy and polite and work as a well oiled team to get a first rate job done in minimal time. Their work ethic is traditional - get on with it and do a good job. We were impressed that all the old wood would be replaced before the plastic was installed, as a matter of course and they suggested an alternative routing of a downpipe to eliminate water noise on the conservatory roof. We cannot fault them and have already recommended them to 2 of our friends.

Michael was the most efficient tradesman I have ever met. I emailed him to ask for a site visit for a quote and got a reply within hours. The next day( a Sunday) he visited and within two hours of leaving I had a quote. It was potentially a difficult job but he was eager to do it. Other companies came to quote and that was the last I heard. His communication was second to none, and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard, he even did extra at no charge and left spare roof slates with me. I would recommend Michael and his team to anyone. A lovely honest guy who isn't out to rip anybody off.

Having used this company 10 years ago, when we were very satisfied with the workmanship and attitude, they were our first choice when we needed further work to be done. M.P.Plastics were the only company who were willing to quote and supply the fascia panels in 7 metre lengths. All the other companies would only quote in 5 metre lengths, which meant a join in the middle of the fascia panel which we did not want. They arrived on time - to the minute- and stayed on site until the job was finished. The work was carried out on time - to quote- and with the utmost courtesy. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring this type of work and would, and no doubt will, use Micheal and his team again without hesitation.

Michael was very reliable with providing his quotes, which are easy to understand; even to the point of offering alternatives to consider so that you can tailor the works to suit your budget. Michael is very forward thinking in his approach to the works and your wishes and interprets your requirements into the finished product; all the materials are top quality and the end result of making the finished product look better is of paramount importance to him, also if he can add that little finishing touch to improve on the finished product he does. All Michaels team are very polite and courteous and nothing is too much trouble, they were reliable and arrived each day with excellent time keeping, within minutes they were setting up and working to a routine with no confusion about who did what and when; they also carried on working in weather that I would not have gone out in! If it wasn’t for the work being carried out you wouldn’t know they were there, they were always mindful of your property, took great care to lay dust-sheets and at the end of each working day everything was packed away with all rubbish cleared from the job and they just left you with the enjoyment of the work they had carried out that day. Through no fault of Michael and his team there were some extra works required, but unlike some contractors who can see this as an opportunity to make considerably more money, Michael carried out this additional work with a very insignificant extra cost to me. Michael was always easy to contact from the quotation stage through to completion of the works and he and his team have restored my previously flagging faith in today’s tradesmen, therefore, I cannot recommend him and his team more highly.

I discovered that Mike Payne has 30 years experience in this work and was one of the earliest pioneers in upvc facia / soffit. He had a team of 4 guys (incl himself) on my job and they were a pleasure to have around. All the materials were top quality and the workmanship faultless. One or two areas of additional work were required where roof timbers had rotted behind the facia, but all this was dealt with without any fuss. We have an attached garage with a pitched roof which every other company insisted would need traditional scaffold. Not these guys. Very resourceful.

I can honestly say I was bowled over by the job Michael and his guys did for me. They turned up exactly when they said they would and worked like Trojans all day. In 2 days flat they had completely replaced all the exterior wood AND tidied up leaving the absolutely no trace that they'd ever been there - except I now had the best looking facias, soffits and gutters in the area! If Michael had given me a board to put up saying "I'm 100% satisfied with the job that MP Plastics did for me", I'd have nailed it to my house with pride. He's restored my faith in British tradesmen and I could not recommend him and his guys more highly.
