Tracing a blockage in sewerage, and unblocking it.
I am an end terraced property and had the most unfortunate experience of a blocked sewer! Mr Roberts was called out on a saturday morning, arrived very promptly and worked methodically and quickly to locate blockage (not my house!). His professionalism, expertise and calming manner turned a very unpleasant domestic event into a very positive one in that I had the pleasure in meeting a genuine and trustworthy tradesman. His details have already been passed on to friends and family. I would recommend to others and use again.

Drain fault
Always kept us up to date about his ETA thought logically about the problem to find the fault, only spent the amount of time he said he would need. I would recommend them.

Unblocked drains, and investigated by camera the drain system.

Cleared a blocked drain.

Prompt courteous, efficient and they cleared up. After they finished the job that needed doing, without being asked, they flushed the whole system to the main sewer. Well done Matt and Mate. An excellent job!

CLEARED A BLOCKED DRAIN

Called them at 1100 on Saturday and they were at my home in just over an hour. I had already lifted the covers, knew where the problem was and had a recent drain survey to help. Nevertheless, this only shortened the time they were on site and they would have found the problem themselves without my help. The clearance was done effectively and they thought about the problem before going headlong into the blockage. They were careful not to damage the drains by using very high pressure jetting, and recommended remedial work (in a Thames Water sewer) to stop it happening again.

Put a camera down a drain to see if it was redundant

Were very helpful, practical and did more than I expected to achieve what I needed them to achieve. Will keep their phone number and would recommend them to any of my friends needing help with their drains.

Clearing of foul sewer pipe and remedial work

M.R. Drains responded to our emergency call within 1 hour to clear a blocked sewer pipe. On completion the CCTV clearly showed there was a misalignment together with deteriorating pitch fibre pipe surface. As a result, at our request, M.R. Drains returned to sleeve the pipe as per modern technology. They were very efficient and left the site clean and tidy.

Drain blockage cleared

I was provided with regular updates as to expected time of arrival. An initial examination of the problem was undertaken and I was quoted a price before work commenced. The work was explained to me as it progressed. Matt Roberts subsequently sourced and fitted a new cap for the pipe used to access the blockage, returning on his own time (on 19 Aug) and without charge to do so.
