Called them at 1100 on Saturday and they were at my home in just over an hour. I had already lifted the covers, knew where the problem was and had a recent drain survey to help. Nevertheless, this only shortened the time they were on site and they would have found the problem themselves without my help. The clearance was done effectively and they thought about the problem before going headlong into the blockage. They were careful not to damage the drains by using very high pressure jetting, and recommended remedial work (in a Thames Water sewer) to stop it happening again.

M.R. Drains responded to our emergency call within 1 hour to clear a blocked sewer pipe. On completion the CCTV clearly showed there was a misalignment together with deteriorating pitch fibre pipe surface. As a result, at our request, M.R. Drains returned to sleeve the pipe as per modern technology. They were very efficient and left the site clean and tidy.

I was provided with regular updates as to expected time of arrival. An initial examination of the problem was undertaken and I was quoted a price before work commenced. The work was explained to me as it progressed. Matt Roberts subsequently sourced and fitted a new cap for the pipe used to access the blockage, returning on his own time (on 19 Aug) and without charge to do so.

M R Drains does 'what it says on the can' to quote a popular advert. Reassuring on initial phone contact, came out quickly, cleared the problem and then explained (using a camera) the problem and what needed to be done. Correction work was completed efficiently and effectively and when they left the drive and border had been restored to its previous condition. Extremely polite and helpful - can't recommend them enough.

I don't usually complete these feedback forms but great service needs recognising. I have left it 5 months before I give a recommendation as, being cautious by nature, I wanted to ensure the issue was fixed! In the past 3 companies had failed to resolve a major domestic drain problem (all of whom never came back with a long term fix after taking my money for jetting the drain!). Then I found Matt's company on Checkatrade. His phone manner was excellent and he gave me confidence immediately that he was the solution to the drain problem I had. He turned up on time and, after investigation / diagnosis outlined the work needed and a price for completion. The work took 2 days, he turned up promptly each day and was friendly and as unobtrusive as he could have been. Work was completed on time and I was charged what I was quoted (even though I suspect it took longer to do than he had estimated). When he finished the area he had worked in was restored to as it had been before. I had a small issue shortly after completion - he turned up within 2 hours and rectified it and didn't charge me anything extra. I really can't speak highly enough of the service provided and the professionalism of this company.
