I described the symptoms to Pete (luke warm instead of hot water despite recently replacing sensors) and he guided me through some checks I could do myself and then diagnosed the problem as needing a replacement heat exchanger (which was 7 yrs old and in a very hard water area). He also predicted the hot water flow would increase when the exchanger was replaced and sure enough, 2 hrs work later, piping hot water and now as fast as the cold water for the first time since we moved in 3 yrs ago. Would definitely recommend him and use again. Worth the wait (< 1 week in this case) if not immediately available.

After being told by two previous plumbers that the shower pump was gone and needed replacing, a job that would have cost hundreds, it was a very pleasant surprise to be told that it was a blocked pipe and would only cost me labour. I found Pete very honest and that is very refreshing. I would not hesitate to recommend him as his work was 1st class.
