We recently moved to a Victorian house 1894 where the Chimney needed to be rebuilt to the original spec to match next door's stack so we can use for an open fire. Mark Rabbetts team, working under the most atrocious conditions in November/December 2010, (rain, snow, ice, snow, snow!) did an absolutely outstanding job. In freezing temperatures they were unfailing polite, arriving promptly every day and were exceptionally hard-working. I would have no hesitation in recommending them - their workmanship is excellent, particularly as the roof in question has a very steep pitch with awkward access in places. I referred to Checkatrade before appointing MAR and am certainly not disappointed with the results.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. On the first visit I explained what I wanted and every detail was discussed together with some sensible suggestions for improvements. The estimate was very reasonable and the work commenced on the day agreed and finished only one day late despite some torrential rain. I was kept informed of progress at all stages. The workmen all worked very hard and were obviously proud of their efforts. The workmanship was excellent and I was very satisfied with the final result. There was no mess and the debris was removed without any trace.
