Mark came to our house because we had no hot water or heating. The problem was due to an airlock which he quickly fixed and advised on what was required to prevent it happening again. What a gentleman. As the fault was so small, he didn't even charge us. Now days it can be very difficult to find a good tradesman, but I would certainly use Mark next time. Thanks again.

The outside tap split in the recent cold and given the age of the house I had to turn the main stop-cock off and was without water. Mark found time to make an emergency dash over to fix the problem. I recommend him to friends and family and their feedback is always a big thank you as he does a great job, he’s reliable and quite simply a really lovely fella!

Once again had Mark back to refurbish my en-suite and install a new gas boiler. The finish is superb and Mark has created a lovely new bathroom. I wouldn't have any other heating/plumbing engineer to do this work, simply no-need. Marks all round knowledge, workmanship, helpful and friendly approach is second to none. Mark attended my house to service combi-boiler. After taking casing off and inspecting internal piping he decided job wasn't necessary. He put the boiler back together, tidied up and refused to take a single penny as payment. Will definately use again, thanks.

The house is very old and Mark was the only one of four plumbers to resolve the problem ‘smell’ in the bathroom when the sink taps were run..... He identified the existence of an old fume valve within a wall casing which needed replacing. Not only did he fix the problem at minimal cost, he didn’t deliver too many wise cracks about the smelly working conditions!

Mark has completed another excellent job on my house, having used him previously for other work earlier this year. He started on the original date we planned and completed in just over a week, with different types of jobs being done on each day. Quality of workmanship was excellent to the point where it was fairly impossible to fault the finish. Each evening, mess had been cleared - even the old suite was removed from my drive during the first day. I'd really recommend if you want a good quality job using skilled trades people. I used Mark again here, so I have obviously followed this through myself.

Mark was very informative about the options after calling him out following my boiler breaking down. He came out at very short notice and followed up with a quote within hours, which he eventually came under when completing the work. Mark finished the work in one day as promised, despite someone calling in ill so he was a man down. As a consequence of the good job my dad is currently getting a quote for similar work at his house.

He was also extremely quick in providing his quote and kept me informed of his availability to do the job. His quote was not the cheapest, but I took into account the good feedback he had already received on Checkatrade, as well as the professional advice he was willing to offer. During the installation, Mark ensured the work was completed with minimal disruption and he kept the house as tidy as possible for what is still a messy job. I called Mark on Wednesday evening (3rd), he was very busy but offered to come round next evening on his way home. True to his word he arrived at the time he had said. He diagnosed what I had described as a boiler problem within minutes as a water pump issue. I Also asked him if he'd look at a problem with my toilet not flushing - again he diagnosed the issue immediately. He had previous bookings for Friday but again offered to come and do the work on his way home after 18:00 if that would help me ( it certainly did as I had guests arriving on the Saturday (6th) Again he arrived on time and promptly set to work fixing both issues first time ! He cleaned up and vacuumed after he had finished and left the area he was working in probably better than he found it. Very reasonable price for the work done and a very friendly, cheerful guy. So pleased with his work I have booked him to replace my hot water tank AND to regularly service my heating system - 10 out of 10

Mark has also made a workshop room into a multi purpose room. The work was completed within the time scale given it was well organised with one trader following the other without any gaps. What made Mark stand out from other people that have done work for us was his willingness to explain what he would be doing and more importantly to give us some great ideas that we would not have thought of that improved the finish of the work.
