This is the second and third time I have had to call upon Marvin in a month, one of these jobs was due to a certain water company causing my toilet to mal-function. Each time he has responded quickly, it's like a same day service! Fortunately, touch wood, I haven't had to call for a while, but will have no hesitation next time.

We had no hot water and a leak on the Thursday and by Friday all work was done and we had hot water, they also new we had to go out at 3 all work was done by then. The service was very good and we would recommend them to anyone.

There was a serious leak from a water pipe in our hallway around midnight on Monday 8th August and I struggled to turn the water off at the mains so text Marvin who rang me back about 10 minutes later and told me what procedure to use. He then apologised for not being able to come round but he was in fact on holiday in the Costa Del Sol! He came back from holiday on the 10th and was around our house that teatime, made good what he could and returned the following morning first thing and replaced the broken pipe. Now that is what I call good service! Cannot recommend him highly enough.

He came out late on Friday evening as there was a bit of a mix up re the date and so it was all done whilst I was there with my mother. He was very helpful and polite and I felt that if we needed any more plumbing work - which we do - that he would be the right choice for that work. This is the first time I have used Marvin's plumbing and I would use them again. I had a leak in the stopcock and phoned Marvin. He came round and gave us an estimate and agreed to return on a day that suited us. Marvin returned and fixed the problem at the price that he estimated. There was a problem that is started leaking again once he had left. But I phone him up and he returned within 5 minutes and sorted it out. I would use this company again

Marvin fixed a leak on our washing machine, we called him out after discovering that there was a huge amount of water under the lino in our kitchen, but we were not sure where it was coming from, Marvin found the leak and not only fixed it, but lifted the lino out, cleaned up all the underneath where the water damage was and is always extremely polite and courteous. Would highly recommend.

Marvin was recommended to me to mend a leaking tap on the bath. Marvin mended the tap and whilst there were a few problems (caused by the original installer) Marvin dealt with them quickly and efficiently, telling me at each stage. Having had to 'chop' out part of the bath panel (inc stuck on tiles) to gain access to the tap this was all replaced perfectly. He was neat, tidy and courteous at all times. Full of great advice and also tips to save money ~ wouldn't recommend anyone else. A credit to the Plumbing Industry.

Marvin had been round to check on the amount of lime scale in shower with regard to fitting Limemaster and appointment was made ------2 hours later another company turned up to fit a new washing machine and broke the pipe off the wall so we were stuck with one new washing machine outside and one old one, thanks to them we couldn't disconnect 'sorry about that --we will give you a refund' -- and off they went leaving a trail of destruction in their wake---I rang Marvin and he was back within the hour sorted out the problem and actually helped to carry the old one outside----I can recommend Marvin to every customer as a very honest and rather brilliant professional and certainly would not consider anyone else

OK --a small job easily done by a householder---no problem---but what if the screws were cross threaded and practically welded together and the householder suffers from chronic spinal degeneration----so there I am with a toilet seat half off---no way of contorting myself ---the afternoon gets worse by the minute----so I called Marvin and asked him would he be able to help at some point. Asking me how far I'd got and being told in a veritable cleft stick he uttered the immortal words "Be round in an hour" ----took him 15 minutes----all done peace of mind restored I really honestly cannot rate this guy high enough--and if anyone wants an exemplary job of any description---he has also done a major job for me in the past----Marvin is a wonderful plumber and with a smile as well
