Workmanship was of the very highest standard, work area was always left clean and tidy each night, including washing down the pavement each night to minimise mess to our neighbours. James produced a good plan and supplied a detailed estimate. When unforeseen problems arose, he came up with good solutions, and amended the estimate very reasonably. The work was completed on time and to a very high standard.

From the start - coming round to talk through the works and provide a competitive estimate to the end - some final finishing off delayed at our request, James and his team were professional, courteous, hard working and effective. I found Masonry Construction Projects very professional, helpful when answering all of my many questions and were very tidy considering such a dirty job. They demolished my stack from roof to ground floor dining room in just a few days and replaced the floor boards and plaster boarded ceiling, ready for the decorator. I would both recommend and use James and his company again.

After completing the main extension MCP demolished the existing utility room to open into the new extension, then reduced the previous ground level to match the new extension inserting an new damp proof course.Also installing an new catnic lintel and structural blockpier to support the original house, with a new garage wall to separate extension. Once again a good job by James and the team.

We are absolutely delighted with James and Jason's work. Tidy, punctual, real pride in what they do. Coped with issues about not being able to get right materials and used great problem solving for some difficult areas. We have never experience such great craftsmanship and such nice and reliable people. We are having them back in the autumn for more work. Can't recommend them highly enough.

James has done an excellent job for us. This is clear 'by eye' and has also been remarked upon by other visiting trades-people involved in our kitchen refurbishment project. MCP gave us the most competitive quote for work and also were the most thorough in inspecting the area to them provide a detailed breakdown of work. This high standard of work and the courteous communication means that MCP will be the first we'll call for any future work. I highly recommend James and his team.

The quote I had from MCP was accurate (I was given 2 options to choose from with very clear explanations for both) and James was excellent in keeping in touch to update me with regard to start date and progress of the project. James spent time to source exactly the style of bricks I was looking for and nothing was too much trouble. The standard of workmanship was excellent and the fireplace is a now a fantastic feature within my house. It was great to return to a clean and tidy house once the work had been completed.

James' was by far the best of the four contractors we tendered for our job. Not only did he provide us with the most thorough quote, his professionalism, understanding of what we required (and not trying to rip us off by adding in non-essential extras), and his helpful friendly manner was what won him the contract. His quote was also the cheapest. He laid out all the options open to us, even though it meant that he potentially lost out on work as we could do it ourselves, and offered us loads of useful advice. We would highly recommend him and will certainly be using him again for a few other upcoming mini projects on our flat. Once you find a decent tradesman you should hang onto them!!

James did an excellent job on the wall. The original wall collapsed in part due to tree damage and needed to be rebuilt. James was not the cheapest quote but seemed to be the most professional. James rebuilt the wall in such a way that it is now stronger then when it as originally built and the repairs are invisible. James was never any intrusion and even when he worked weekends to complete the job was no inconvenience at all. Upon completion, James cleared the site to such an extent you would not even know he had been there. As I say above, an excellent job and I would not hesitate to use James again in the future.

We got four quotes for this job. James' was the most impressive in presentation and also in detail. He didn't have as many years in the business as the other companies we consulted, but on meeting him, I decided to give him the job. I'm glad I did. He proved to have meticulous attention to detail and his foresight and craftsmanship resulted in a first class execution of the job. We had wanted the wall to blend as closely as possible with the existing c1905 wall which it connected to. The style of pointing, use of reclaimed capping bricks and the choice of main brick stock creates a sympathetic match to the period of the two properties it divides and gives the impression of a wall that was always there, rather than a new alternative for the modern fence it has replaced. On completion, the site was left clear of any evidence of building works having taken place. He clearly has a keen sense of personal pride in his work. I've given him 10 out of 10 in every category because I honestly couldn't justify giving him anything less. And if I had to score him on a personal level, I'd probably give him a 10 again (my kids miss him already).

James was happy to research and undertake the design of the chimney stacks, in order to compliment the new slate roof. All works were carried out expeditiously and tidily. James is a very hard work and was happy to work later to ensure the work was finished on time. He cleared away all the debris and left the site tidy every night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will definitely use him again for any further projects.

James was excellent. Came on time, worked late if needed and came over at the weekend to get jobs done. He spent a long time measuring up to make sure everything was going to fit in. He was also very clean and always tided up
