Work, tidiness and courtesy were first class. My only observation is that initially the job would take about 2 weeks. It in fact took over 3 which caused an impact on my family/pets. I appreciate that some days were lost to weather but there were days when only 1 or 2 staff members attended. I am aware that other jobs were being done at the same time as mine and wonder if this contributed to the delay?. I would though without hesitation recommend this firm.

Response from Mayfair Developments:
On several occasions The customer changed his mind on the design and layout of what we were trying to achieve even after going against our advise, which in turn I had to keep returning to the job at least twice a day over three days even though the workforce was continuing to work each day and on the first day a plan was drawn and agreed upon by the customer. This however broke the work relationship and when costing rose over double what had been originally quoted for there was inclinations that finances were not available. Therefore I spoke to the customer face to face informing them that I could no longer work under these conditions and that I was leaving the job and I would leave it in a clean and tidy manner. Which I personally did myself with another member of the team. I was not happy leaving the job but had no choice as the conditions in my opinion were very stressful and I had to safe guard my company as non payment would put even more stress on the company and team.

We selected Mayfair Developments over four other companies because they provided a timely, comprehensive and competitive quote. Despite having to deal with unforeseen vehicular challenges at the start of the work, Ashley and his crew did their very best to keep to the agreed schedule. Including giving up a Saturday. The team worked extremely hard and kept us well informed throughout the job. Where problems were uncovered from previous works they were pro-active in proposing options and recommending effective solutions. The entire team were extremely courteous and thoughtful when working on site. Especially as the drive was our only route into the house, and navigating across with a baby needed extra care. They also worked well with the other service providers. The quality of the work was very good and we have no hesitation in recommending this company to others for similar work.

I was very impressed with the drive and service, so much so I came straight on the website to tell everyone so. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would invite anyone round to see the work at our property if they were not sure if they should employ this company. The craftsmanship really does speak for itself. An added bonus to dealing with Mayfair was the fact that they were also the cheapest quote out of four companies and gave us address' of previous jobs done to look at in our own time.
