Full service and minor fault-finding

First time I've used this firm even though they're only round the corner. Really impressed with them. My 22yr old car went in for a full service but I also had a minor problem with the car running fast when idle which I asked them to look at. I had a call from Maypole mid-afternoon and had a very detailed and helpful report from the mechanic, confirming what he had done and giving some impartial advice about other work that might need doing (without applying any pressure to get it done). Really impressed and I will be using Maypole in future.

Repair to car

I believe to repair was carried out to a good standard, as I have had no further complaint. I was disappointed by the mechanics attitude towards me as I asked for an initial quote for the work. Off-putting and unfriendly in my opinion. The women manning the desk as I came to pick up the car was much friendlier and much more customer minded.
