For a central heating engineer in Surrey and throughout the entire London area, get in touch with me, Michael McCluskey personally here at McCluskey's Plumbing and Heating.

Here I provide a wide range of plumbing, central heating, bathroom and boiler services for all members of the general public, as well as businesses and landlords who are seeking landlord gas safety certificates in Surrey, London.

I am an industry approved plumber and certify all necessary works that are required by the building regulations. I qualified in 1983, and continue to take gas exams every 5 years.

I carry out a wide range of gas installations in Surrey, London, and other areas, ranging from:

* Bathroom Installations
* Boiler Replacements
* Full Central Heating Systems
* Landlord Gas Safety Reports

I find all aspects of plumbing and heating enjoyable and have steadily built up a number of regular customers who confidently return for business. I am willing to discuss needs and budgets and only install quality products. My son has passed his plumbing apprenticeship, so the future looks good ahead and the family business will hopefully continue for many years. It will also enable me to branch out in other fields of work. I do not sub-contract work out.

I am a member with the Institute of plumbing so that we get top quality advice and technical help when required.

My estimates are free and I am willing to help with any plans and complete every job to a professional standard.

Heating maintenance

Michael arrived very quickly when I reported a problem with my central heating. He quickly identified and rectified the problem (faulty pump). Would recommend him to anyone.

Installation of a wash-hand basin ,cabinet, work top and tiling above a vanity unit.

McCluskeys work was of a very high standard. Michael and is son Luke were punctual and there was no time wasting during the job. The place was cleared up and left as they found it. What's more they alerted me to a manufacturer's design fault in the equipment . They alerted the suppliers and arranged for replacement equipment and also for a Manufacturer's Site Survey. This involved additional work by McCluskeys but they waived the charges in view of the inconvenience/delay to me. I very much appreciated their honesty and integrity and would recommend them to any prospective customer. There should be more people like this in the trade..

Re-attach one radiator and fix leaking valves on another, fit new toilet, replace mixer tap/shower and re-seal bath

I chose McCluskey's because they were able to provide good advice on a replacement mixer shower/tap for my bath which gave a cost effective solution that met my requirements. They also gave honest advice on what I needed to do about my kitchen sink/worktop (not part of this work). All work appears to have been done to high standard and to a good finish. They were professional and helpful in their service.

Disconnected gas fire and cooker

Michael disconnected gas appliances in my Alzheimer's mother's house, as she was proving unable to cope. As suspected, fire and cooker were both dangerous, and Michael completed the work with a full explanation of the situation, quickly and tidily.

My bathroom was installed incorrectly. Michael traced and corrected all plumbing to basin, toilet and shower.

I've had bad experiences with cowboy plumbers. Someone suggested I tried 'Checkatrade.Com' I am so pleased I did. Michael had the floor boards up trying to trace the problem which he did very efficiently. Other plumbers told me it couldn't be put right and I would have to have a completely new bathroom suit. I am delighted with Michael's workmanship he was very honest, professional, efficient and obliging, a clean, quick, good job, he even relayed the carpet and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him.

Power flush central heating system

Michael and his son certainly knew what they were doing and gave me loads of advice. Quickly identified the problem with my heating system (which other heating engineers had failed to do) and sorted it out. Very satisfied with the end result. Thanks Michael.
