McCluskeys assessed the work on a previous visit thus there was no need to make a separate visit for the estimate which was given by email. Most of the correspondence including the invoice was by email which is good. The work itself was carried out very professional and in good time and I am happy with the said works carried out by McCluskeys Plumbing and Heating. Michael McCluskeys was early for the appointment which rather upset my schedule which is why I only marked him with a seven out of ten for timekeeping; however I did appreciate him being early rather than late, him getting the work completed before the weekend. The standard of the work I am very happy with and would recommend him and indeed have done so already. I too would revert to his firm again.

I am responding to the below customers report. I am bemused that I have been criticised for arriving early. It was a late booking the previous evening and several times I had requested a contact telephone number. Which she failed to do. I sent an email notifying the customer I was to arrive early and was prepared to wait if she was not at home After 11 emails answering all of the customers concerns communication finally broke down between us. I am passionate and committed to providing excellent customer service and so am disappointed on this occasion.

McCluskeys work was of a very high standard. Michael and is son Luke were punctual and there was no time wasting during the job. The place was cleared up and left as they found it. What's more they alerted me to a manufacturer's design fault in the equipment . They alerted the suppliers and arranged for replacement equipment and also for a Manufacturer's Site Survey. This involved additional work by McCluskeys but they waived the charges in view of the inconvenience/delay to me. I very much appreciated their honesty and integrity and would recommend them to any prospective customer. There should be more people like this in the trade..

I chose McCluskey's because they were able to provide good advice on a replacement mixer shower/tap for my bath which gave a cost effective solution that met my requirements. They also gave honest advice on what I needed to do about my kitchen sink/worktop (not part of this work). All work appears to have been done to high standard and to a good finish. They were professional and helpful in their service.

I've had bad experiences with cowboy plumbers. Someone suggested I tried 'Checkatrade.Com' I am so pleased I did. Michael had the floor boards up trying to trace the problem which he did very efficiently. Other plumbers told me it couldn't be put right and I would have to have a completely new bathroom suit. I am delighted with Michael's workmanship he was very honest, professional, efficient and obliging, a clean, quick, good job, he even relayed the carpet and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him.

Michael installed our boiler years ago and maintains it. As usual Michael turned up on time (in fact 15 mins early) diagnosed the problem without fuss or bother, source the part and repaired. All this was done efficiently, politely and with a proper clean up on completion. Simple stuff really but something increasingly hard to find. Michaels number is firmly in our address book, hope he doesn't hang up his tools anytime soon.

Michael updated my very old and ancient heating system November of last year. We had a new Worcester Bosch boiler with a vented hot water cylinder. Michael kept me well informed throughout all the works. I have had enormous problems on getting a trust worthy installer. I had problems with the hot water cylinder not heating up the water to a sufficient temperature. Michael was the fourth person who came to have a look and very quickly diagnosed that the problem lay with the thermostat being faulty. He replaced the thermostat on the spot and I have not had any problems since. I would highly recommend Michael.

Fantastic!!! Highly recommended because Mick was very efficient with the work. Done a quotation at an amazing price. I have two kids and work being done in the kitchen could of been quite manic but the tidiness of the place and workmanship was incredible that stress was kept at a minimum. Very prompt for estimates and commencement of works. What impressed me was Mr McClusky's knowledge and expertise, especially in one property, where difficulties had to be overcome. He would explain in detail what needed to be done when estimating and then gave a detailed written estimate. He works to a very high standard and I have recommended him to friends. He obviously puts a lot of effort in keeping up to date with developments and also looks beyond the immediate job in hand taking a proactive view of your property.
