Lifting cork tiles and retiling with ceramic tiles in Kitchen and utility room, 38 sq metres

Mr McCormack's work was exceptionally good. He was extremely neat and tidy and cleared up very well. He was punctual and kept us informed about needing to go away from the job during the day to hire machines etc. He was pleasant, helpful and trustworthy. His price seemed quite high but the final cost was as he had quoted and, taking into consideration the speed at which he worked and his meticulousness over the job, we felt we had paid for an excellent job. I would definitely recommend him for large or small tiling work.

Designer Showeroom at Westminster

I was the building contractor working for a designer up in the city at Westminster, I had a full refurbishment works on an apartment and I was given Christians contact details by a friend who rated him very highly! I needed this bathroom to be absolutely perfect as it was of high specification by the designer and we had already had 2 other bathrooms tiled by 2 other tiling company's which were not great and the designer was not happy with the work! I can honestly say as a building contractor I have worked with alot of other tradesmen But it was an absolute pleasure to have Christian work for me he is the most tidy professional tiler I've ever seen work! The bathroom he done was perfect! The designer was very happy with the work and she has now asked me to have the other 2 bathrooms re-tiled by Christian. I never usually like getting involved with feedbacks etc but I have to give credit where credit is due and I will now be using Christian for all my tiling contracts. A very nice fella and its always good to find another tradesman that takes such pride in his work! Thank you very much Christian

Tiling

My wife and I were very disappointed with workmanship following Mr McCormac first visit when nothing was a problem to achieve. In reality mitering tiles around window reveals and achieving a truly flat surface was not achieved. Polished marble has lost it's surface through grouting. Grout left on the wall cabinets and tiles and not cleaned off. Grouting not finished. Generally a very poor job that In our opinion did not achieve what was said could be done and requires everything to be re- done.

I feel that I have to disagree with the customer comments. As agreed with the customer at the time the best way to deal with the tiles as they were very delicate was to butt them not to mitre as they were prone to chipping. At all times I tdid ry to meet the customer’s requirements and felt that we had a good working relationship and communicated well with the customer. I am disappointed that the customer feels this way. We always strive for customer satisfaction.
