Refitting built-in electric oven
Was helpful in arranging an early morning appointment and arrived on time. Very good at explaining options for the job which he was unable to finish due to the awkward size of oven that I had purchased and the constructed units. He refused to take payment- even though he had already completed some of the installation to a high, safe standard-because he hadn't 'finished the job' He explained how it could be completed when proper-sized oven arrives. Will definitely use again for any electric work!

Fitting new low energy down lighters and replacing extractor fan in ensuite
Work excellent; very tidy; friendly and efficient service. Kieran went the extra mile. Very rare these days. He explained very clearly, by email and during a site visit the differences between existing technologies in this area including advantages and disadvantages of each system allowing us to make an informed choice. We are very happy with the work and we will use this company again.

Full house re-wire, new fuse box etc.
I had used Kieran for small bits of work before and so felt completely confident about choosing Merlin Electrics to re-wire our new house when we moved. He and his team are all reliable, trustworthy, courteous, hardworking and went out of their way to create the minimum of mess and disruption for us - putting the floorboards and carpets back down each evening so that it was safe for the children and going out of their way to tidy up before leaving each day. They did the job well and on schedule and I know I would have no problems getting them back if there were any bits of snagging to do. I felt very comfortable having them in my house, happy to leave them with a key and will definitely use them again. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs good, honest electricians to do any size job.

Gave advice over the phone on electrical problem
I called Kieran on a Sunday after calling numerous over companies. I didn't even leave a message (just a missed call) but he called me back straight away, and gave me advice over the phone. Absolutely exceptional service!!!

New fuse box installed, spot lights fitted and light fittings assembles and fitted.
I can't speak highly enough of this company. The work carried out was done expertly. Nothing was too much trouble, clean, tidy and courteous. A very good job done and would definitely recommend.
