I also ask Mr Connor if it would be possible for them to have a look at an issue I had with a small leak around my chimney. We were very impressed with Michael E Connor Roofing Contractor and his team. They were efficient, tidy and worked almost constantly with very few breaks. His estimate was very fair and he also deducted an amount for work which did not need doing which he discovered when he removed the old felt. We often get estimates which are totally inflated because of where we live but I would recommend Mr Connor 100% for being honest, industrious and carrying out a totally satisfactory job.

We had damp on a chimney breast in one of the bedrooms. Our surveyor thought the chimney might need repointing or the flashings may need to be repaired. We called Michael out and he went up on the roof and looked at the chimney but could find nothing wrong. He went in the attic and could see the damp. He advised us to put some vents in the chimney which we did and the damp has cleared up. He was very honest and did not charge us anything for his time. We would definately recommend him.

An Excellent and Professional Job. I called Mike in the morning to ask about a quote for some roofing works, and he was able to come round that afternoon and look at the job. He gave an honest, professional opinion about the work that needed doing - and also provided the best price for doing the job. Mike was able to provide a quote in writing for the work that needed doing, prior to starting the job. The written quote was very detailed and set out all that needed to be done, and all that was being included for the price. I found this quite helpful, as this was the first time I had ever had to get someone in to do a major job for me. The job needed scaffolding which was neatly installed by professional scaffolding contractors. Mike and his team, who were friendly, courteous and polite, arrived the following week to start the roofing works. The work was done very quickly, to a very high standard, and without any mess. Any waste materials were removed from site, and all mess was cleared up so that you wouldn't know anyone had been working. There was no difference in price to the original quotation upon completion of the works, except for a couple of little extra jobs which I asked to be done whilst they were there (which were not originally quoted for, and were done at a very reasonable price) I would definitely recommend Michael E Connor Roofing Contractors to anyone who needed roofing works done.

A friendly team of professional roofers, they tidied up at the end of each day and done a great job. The porch was build with no lead flashing or soakers, the roofers removed the existing tiles, and installed the soakers and lead. They even repaired two of my leaking gutters!

Michael undertook a particularly tricky job as our old roof had 1930's asbestos tiles, he and his team removed and disposed of these with full safety gear and in accordance with laws. In addition to this we had a chimney removed and another re-pointed, as well as a flat part of the roof being re-covered. We also had complete new fascias, guttering and down pipes. The quote we received was very competitive, and he advised us on several things which other roofers told us that needed to be done, when in fact they didn't need to be done at all. He also was able to give extensive advice on what type of tile to go for in relation to suitability for the property and that of the surrounding area. The whole job was completed with amazing speed (despite several wet days) and we can' t fault him and his team at all. I have waited several months before posting on here, to ensure that no problems arose after the roof was completed, and to no surprise it still is in tip top condition. Michael and his team are the kind of contractors that you always want to be working on your house, the kind that respect it and you as their customer, but most importantly they do what they say they are going to do. At the end of the job, one of the roofers even gave us a jar of tea and coffee to replace what that had used during their time working here! A+

Very impressed with all aspects of the company, from the very quick response to my request for a quote, the price itself, how quickly the work was carried out and how well it had been done to the tidying up and politeness.
