Removal of a supporting wall and inserting to steels.
MW Matthews Complete Building Solutions what can I say but fantastic. Mike was true to his word, Arrived when he said, did what he said and did the work to his quote like he said. Both Mike and Steve work extremely well as a team, they removed a supporting wall and inserted two steels in two days, without cracking the plaster in the up stairs bedroom absolutely brilliant. I can’t recommend M W Matthew Building Solutions enough as I will be defiantly be using them again.

Repair a leaking chimney stack.
On each visit, from coming to work out an estimate to completing the job, Mike came at the time he said he would. He carried out the work efficiently, tidally, consulting us at every point, and at the end, had done a very good job. I would not hesitate to use him again for any work we might need doing, nor hesitate to recommend him to anyone else.

Kitchen floor dug out and new floor laid.
Mike was very professional. He even came over a weekend as he knew it was urgent. He took away all the rubbish and even rubbish that was not his. He kept me informed at every step. He kept exactly to price given which was cheaper than the other quote I got. I cannot recommend him enough.

Resolving damp problems.
I live in Essex and I bought a buy to let in Bournemouth for a family member to rent from me. The house had serious damp issues that needed resolving. I found Mike Matthews on Checkatrade and spoke to him via telephone and liked what I heard. I kept Mike updated with the buying process and we first met on the day of completion. Work started the following week. A new floor, airbricks, damp course and plastering. A 1st class job completed! As I was not living nearby there had to be a lot of trust between myself and Mike regarding how and when the job was done and payments. Within four weeks the tenants had moved in.

Reducing and capping off chimney.
I was impressed from start to finish. The quote was very competitive. The work completed quickly and efficiently and the site left clean and tidy. What more can you ask for? I have already arranged for them to do another job for me and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Single storey side extension groundwork and blockwork.
Mike and Steve were on time and worked well together. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. They completed the project on time and within budget. I am very happy with the work produced a very professional team. I will definitely be using them for further works.

Demolition and replacement of a garden wall.
Mike gave an estimated time of 3 weeks for the job (it was not a small wall) and it was completed spot on time. The work was to a very high standard and we were charged as quoted. We have since had Mike back to complete the other wall in the garden, again done within the time frame and cost he quoted. Mike is a pleasure to do business with and we currently have him rebuilding our garage. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
