Michael has done several smaller jobs for me in the past, all to a very high standard. This time he designed and created a delightful patio area which has transformed an awkwardly-shaped rear garden. The herring-bone brickwork in particular is expertly laid and a pleasure to look at. The quality of the work is excellent and his charges are fair and reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased!

Excellent advice freely given from the outset on options for design, and type of materials as we were keen on long-lasting and low maintenance. Particular effort and time was given to making sure of what we wanted the pergola and trellis to look like which was also much appreciated. The job was started and finished with the time frame originally estimated. Very professional, great customer service and it was self-evident that a great deal of pride is taken in doing a good job. Planning to have him back to replace our tired old driveway and garden gates at some point.

Michael transformed our garden three years ago, laying new paving and replanting, and has been coming back regularly ever since to maintain it in perfect condition. We are constantly delighted with the results. He puts in a lot of effort to keep it in good order and his imagination and skill with planting keeps it looking colourful and exciting throughout the year. We couldn't recommend him more highly. He's very nice too.

Michael was so helpful with the planning and design. He was able to create exactly what I had asked for, whilst dealing with different issues as they came up, due to the nature of the original balcony size and construction. He used sound quality woods throughout and the finish was great. Michael also went to great efforts to source some exceptionally good hedging plants for me, and although more expensive than allowed for in the original quote they were far superior to anything we would have found at the lower price, and therefore, well worth the extra money. I would highly recommend Michael and would definitely use his services again.

Trader gave us a friendly and professional service. The work went on longer than he first said which in part was due to the weather conditions. The frost caused some problems with mortar setting and the trader very promptly dealt with this when the weather eased. The trader indicated some 'extras' for which we paid during the work. He should have anticipated some of these in his original quote, but in fairness there were a couple of extras he could not have anticipated Trader checked with us as to desired details frequently, gave us advice on things we might plant when the landscaping was finished, and generally had a very helpful manner. We would not hesitate to hire this trader again should we need this kind of service, and have in fact already gladly recommended him to others.
