Fixed heating system.
Arthur was available to come and fix our heating on the (cold) day on which it broke which was very much appreciated! He diagnosed the problem over the phone and had the relevant part needed with him so that the problem was fixed within an hour. He talked me through what the problem was and gave me advice on how to prevent it happening again, Arthur was very friendly and polite and came across as honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend his services to my friends.

Stop a toilet which is leaking water in the cistern constantly.
Contacted the company regarding a couple of bits around my house. The other issues were fine and the invoice paid. This problem with the toilet was meant to be sorted as part of the initial invoice. It wasn't. I asked the trader to return he promised to return 3 weeks ago and never turned up. I chased again last week. He never bothered to call back or email me. Really poor service. Will not use this company again.

The toilet was not part of the initial invoice. I did return to carry out the tasks, but the time I arrived the customer no longer wanted it. We have since been extremely busy, I have also had to deal with exceptional personal circunstances.

Replaced water cylinder
I spoke to Arthur on the phone and he correctly diagnosed a problem with my (ancient) hot water cylinder (even allowing me to send him a Whatsapp image). When he turned up he was very courteous and moved all the stuff wedged in around the cylinder and went through the options available, then highlighted the fact that a new water cylinder was necessary. I would point out that I'm always sceptical about tradesmen saying things extra need to be done, but there was none of the typical 'sucking in through teeth'. He detailed what needed to be done (as I always ask 'why?') and he gave a satisfactory explanation. He went to pick up the new cylinder, installed it, adjusted temp. Settings and actually mentioned other things that may be useful to know in the future. Very happy with the service. Would definitely recommend.
