I spoke to Arthur on the phone and he correctly diagnosed a problem with my (ancient) hot water cylinder (even allowing me to send him a Whatsapp image). When he turned up he was very courteous and moved all the stuff wedged in around the cylinder and went through the options available, then highlighted the fact that a new water cylinder was necessary. I would point out that I'm always sceptical about tradesmen saying things extra need to be done, but there was none of the typical 'sucking in through teeth'. He detailed what needed to be done (as I always ask 'why?') and he gave a satisfactory explanation. He went to pick up the new cylinder, installed it, adjusted temp. Settings and actually mentioned other things that may be useful to know in the future. Very happy with the service. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and helpful and completed job to a good standard. Slight issue with some leaks after he left which turned out to be the stop-cocks being opened too much, but obviously easy to solve! Good contact in regards to any additional costs incurred and procedure for fixing the heater. All-in- all very pleased with the quality of work and presentation, but let down only by bad time keeping due to transport break-down (but wasn't informed until next day when I called him).

Arthur and 2 colleagues Nigel and Lewis, came on the 20th Sept 2010, to replace a very old and badly fitted boiler. I used them for this job as Arthur has done a few jobs for me in the past, and my choice was proved completely right. All three were very polite and friendly and knew exactly what had to be done to conform with current regulation. They explained exactly what was being done and told me the extra jobs that had to be done. And cleaned and tidied after themselves thoroughly. Although their final cost was more than the original quote, it was less than £200 out and its money very well spent. Would highly recommend Mid Sussex to anyone who asks and will use them for any future plumbing jobs I need. Thanks guys.

Overflow wasn't working, Mid Sussex came out within half an hour of my call (and it is at least a 15 minute drive), cracked on with the work immediately. They had a spare part in the van and finished the job quickly. Service was fantastic, charged the price quoted (which I thought was cheap) and I'd def recommend these guys for anyone that needs plumbing services.

Arthur did a fantastic job on my bathroom, I was very happy with the results. He took charge of the whole project, ordered all the parts in, arranged for a plasterer and tiler to come over and even did some extra building work to box in the piping. All for a very reasonable price and considerably less that what I was quoted by Wicks! And you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer bloke, top marks all round and I'd highly recommend Mid Sussex Plumbing to anyone.

I spoke to Arthur, described the problem and he gave me an estimate which turned out to be accurate. Within an hour of my call, he arrived and started sorting out my problem. He had to go and get a different fitting as my washbasin was of an old design but there was no extra charge for this. Arthur was very polite and approachable, with a very professional manner which engendered trust and confidence and I was not left with the sneaking feeling that I was being overcharged, which is not an unusual suspicion these days. The job was done promptly, without any delay or prevarication, and Arthur cleared up the mess that the job had engendered. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as I found him entirely professional and trustworthy.

I called in desperation at 2100 at night and Arthur was with me within the hour.  The problem wasn't as bad as we thought and he so slashed the original quote by more than half even though it was 2200! A really genuine professional guy, would definitely use again and would highly recommend him.

The sign of a professional is one who does not just give up and run away when it goes wrong - Mid Sussex came in to change some radiators and valves. The pump packed up on them then the 3 port valve then the hall temperature switch. As most of these involved draining a system that loves to have air locks, well you can imagine. Add to that impeccable manners, tidiness and "nothing is too much trouble" attitude and I wont bother looking elsewhere next Thanks again Arthur and if you tell me that you are busy for 6 months the next time I call I will understand.

First Class Service, same day call out even on the run up to Christmas.  Isolated an intermittent leak in remote pipe work necessitating entry into the plasterboard ceiling. They persevered where other companies would have probably just given up.  Reasonable rates clearly explained up-front with no hidden extras, very knowledgeable staff.  Everything a professional plumbing company should be.
