4 days laid dining room, hall and lounge oak flooring.
Very knowledgeable, worked consistently to high standards, listened to our requests and met our needs, worked alone in our house, very trustworthy, dedicated to getting things right and completing in the time specified. Very professional, experienced in laying all types of wood. I would certainly recommend him and use him if needed again in the future.

Lay a new Kitchen Floor
Mike did an excellent job. He offered a good price, arrived when he said he would every day and completed the job with minimum disruption. On a couple of occasions Mike went beyond his remit. We would certainly employ him again and would thoroughly recommend him.

Laminate floor in kitchen
Mike was friendly, courteous and helpful. He arrived on time, worked hard and completed the project in the forecast time. He admitted to being 'fussy' and this showed in his attention to detail and tidiness. I was impressed that he fitted felt protective pads to the legs of the furniture - something that I had not asked him to do. I thought I paid a fair price for an excellent job and have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Levelled floor, fitted wood flooring and new skirting board.
Mike fitted another wood floor in our hall and lounge 3 years ago and did an excellent job, which is why we asked him to do this job as well. Mike did another great job despite coming across a few problems such as misaligned walls and uneven floors.

Laying Oak flooring in entrance hall and it's preparation
Having read the reviews on this site, we thought we'd try Mike's services. Despite my husband and I being fussy customers we were not disappointed. Mike has an informal friendly approach which means it's a pleasure to welcome him into your home. He remains professional at all times though - both in the quality of his workmanship and in keeping us informed of the development of the project. He tackled any problems he faced during the preparation work with ease and without complaint. He was helpful in giving advice on what flooring we should choose and where we could source materials cheaper. We've had our fair share of tradesmen work on our house over the last six years and we can honestly say that Mike is one of the best! We would recommend him without hesitation.

Relaid a wood floor throughout the house
This this the 3rd time I have used Mike and I can only speak very highly of him. Very professional. Honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend him. Just don't talk to him about football - he has odd ideas :-)

Laying new wooden floor from hallway to kitchen
Mike recently laid a new wooden floor for most of the ground floor of our house. We are very happy with the outcome, it is professionally finished and looks great compared to what we had before. He is very punctual and friendly. He managed to solve a few problems which arose without fuss. Would highly recommend.
