Excellent service. Called Mark at around 8.20am and he said he could be there between 8.30am and 12.00 noon. Arrived just after 10.00am and the job was all complete by 10.45am. Very efficient and polite. Would definitely recommend.

He turned up right at the start of the timeslot quoted. The rate quoted was a fixed fee plus any parts (plus VAT). If he needed to order parts and come back, the first visit would only be the fixed fee and the second visit would only be the parts. At the start he described the possible scenarios that could be causing it (faulty instantaneous water heater or circuit board). In the end it turned out to be the circuit board. However, he also said (after checking the heater and finding it was OK, but before removing the circuit board) that often the relay on the circuit board developed a dry solder joint, and that could be fixed easily rather than ordering a new, expensive circuit board. This was exactly the problem, and fixed very quickly. I only had to pay the fixed fee plus VAT. He also provided some very helpful advice about an issue with our oven. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I can highly recommend MJS Services for repairing domestic appliances. His quality of workmanship was excellent. His tidiness, reliability, time keeping and courtesy is second to none. It's a shame that more engineers like Mark are not available.

Mark came and completed the work the same day as I rung to ask if he could help which was fantastic. He was up-front about his charges (which were very reasonable) and explained what he was planning to do to fix the machine before he went ahead with any work that would take the cost above the flat call-out charge.
