We have carried out a number of Extensions and Roof Conversions as well as a maintenance contract for one of the leading estate agents in the Crawley area. We also have carried out various works for three Companies in and around the London area ,Peckham ,Chelsea Clapham, Clapton, Fulham and Wimbledon.

We employ high class tradesman who we work along side on our own contracts so we are able to maintain a very high standard of work throughout. This will cover all trades from Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Roofing, Plastering and Decorating.

One of our projects was featured in the RH Review Magazine put in by the client unbeknown to ourselves which was a pleasant surprise. We have carried out lot's of work on some lovely old period properties around the East Grinsread area covering the Ashdown Forest area also.

We offer free Quotes for all works preferring to visit site before doing so. We try to set realistic programmes for both time and budget providing that all of the works stay within the original brief.

Hanging of doors

Adam and Martin arrived right on time and got straight to work. They hung all 7 doors in the one day and did a fantastic job, I am so happy with the work that they did. They cleaned up after themselves, you wouldn't have known they had been there. They are lovely guys and I would happily use them again for other work in my house. Very good value for money. Thanks Adam and Martin, great job done.

Replacement of soffit and fascia above garage.

Changing the shower unit in my bathroom.

They found a shower unit that fitted perfectly and changed and made it look better than the original with levers rather than knobs, making easier to use great value.

Tighten and repair kitchen tap.

Arrived as agreed on time no call out, priced the repairs on the spot carried out the work put everything back all as it was leaving clean and tidy for price given.

Make up and fit poly carbonate covered area.

They arrived on time, built the covered area, re built the roof structure, cleared and cleaned up all for the price. Fitted all new flashing for no extra cost, lovely job.

Replaced panel of glass in back door

Martin and Adam were very helpful with changing the glass panel, They gave us a large choice of glass patterns. When it came to doing the job they were both their on time and very efficient while carrying out the work. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed a job being done well.

Fitting new doors, and complete redecoration throughout

I am so glad that I phoned Adam about fitting 7 new doors at our property which we let. The call turned out to be one of the best calls I have ever made! The quote was very reasonable, and Adam and his father Martin arrived bang on time to start. They completed the job on time, and I was so pleased with the work that I asked for a quote to completely re-paint the interior of the house. They generally did a very good job, which saved me hours of work, and were very reasonable in price. They also did some extra tidying up jobs as well for me which they quoted for separately, but which ended up being slightly more than expected. In summary, they were an absolute pleasure to work with, very reliable and very very helpful. I would not hesitate to ask them back again, and would not hesitate to recommend.

Loft extension including en-suite bathroom

Often failed to turn up, work done in my opinion to a poor standard and failed to meet building standards. Has refused to meet to pay to have it re-done. In my opinion my worst experience ever of a tradesman.

Response from MJ's Building Services:
With regard to the comments made by this customer firstly, the building control was not sought we said that we believed that they were needed to be sought and we had an architect they could use this was refused as they had spoken to the council on more than one occasion and that nothing was required. Time keeping I can only say as much as possible we tried to keep the customer informed of any absence or days that we were not going to be there. It became more obvious that what they required could not be achieved and this made it necessary to push the whole thing out to the wall plate and not extend up on the purlin as first thought giving a dormer of four times the original dimension. This gave them two complete rooms not just a little box area. As far as we are aware all work was up to building spec. At the end of our working for them the spec and requirements changed on a daily basis on most items with numerous changes and additional items wanted and it felt that it was all just to make it impossible to finish or meet their want list.
