Chris is a perfectionist, a great quality to have as a plasterer. This was the second room he has done for me and it's faultless. I spent 10 mins admiring the joins on the coving. I've had two people come in and comment on the smoothness of the ceilings. Great job for a good price.

I must say what an excellent job Chris did plastering our small bedroom. He had to plaster around a ceiling rose and above picture rails making the task more difficult. He paid attention to detail, was clean and tidy, arrived on time, and charged as per quote. We've had plastering done by others in the past and this is by far the most professional finish.

Chris gave a very competitive estimate, turned up exactly on time and did an excellent job way beyond our expectations. The job was a real challenge with lots of strange angles and corners on walls that haven't received any TLC for decades. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his work. From the moment he arrived he barely took a break over the whole of the three days he was here and, on the last day when after his mixing machine broke down and he had to source a replacement, he worked till 9 p.M. To make sure the job was finished to our complete satisfaction and didn't have to inconvenience us with another visit. He cleaned up after himself and obviously takes great pride in his work offering to come back if we are not completely happy with his work. I won't hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone who wants a first rate job done with the minimum of disruption and will definitely use him again.

This was a massive project involving stripping back all old plaster to brick and removing old lathe and plaster ceilings, followed by replastering the entire space. Chris took on the entire project; including arranging for the skip and scaffolding. Everything went like clockwork, they arrived on time every day, kept me updated of progress each day and were pleasant and courteous throughout. Having employed a number of plasterers over the years, three things really stood out for me: 1) The quality of the work is excellent, the best end result I have seen anywhere on my property. Especially given that my house is old and doesn't have a straight wall or a 90 degree intersection anywhere. Looking at the end result you would never know! 2) Cleanliness. In the past I've had plasterers whose mission in life seems to be spreading dollops of plaster across as many surfaces as possible. Not these guys, every day they tidied up leaving the space accessible and as clean as possible. When the job was completed, not only did they clean the general area and tidy up but they went around the entire space washing down paintwork and removing all traces of plaster from other surfaces. 3) Punctuality. They were there on time every day, worked through with minimal breaks and kept me updated on progress against the original plan. Not only did they do a fantastic job on budget but they came in under time!!!! I will definitely be using Chris again for all future plastering and would strongly recommend his work to anyone.

Chris arrived at exactly the agreed time. The quality of work done was superb this is reflected by Chris's meticulous attention to detail. Chris worked non stop for the 2 days of the job. When finished he cleared up the room removing all rubbish and debris. Once completed he offered advice on the painting of new plaster. He was very pleasant and very courteous at all times. We are always wary when a trades person scores so highly but the scoring and comments left on Checkatrade about Chris Morgan could not be truer. He worked really hard and long hours to get the job completed on time and his attention to detail was second to none, coming back a few nights later to sand down the joins on the coving.
