I thoroughly recommend this company and strongly suggest anybody looking for roofing work to be done gives them a try. The recent heavy rain and wind created a leak around our chimney when tiles slipped and the flashing split. Matt and his team came round the same day I made contact, diagnosed the problem and offered solutions (short term or permanent). Matt instilled a lot of confidence with his approach and attitude, and with me having opted for a permanent solution he subsequently came back with a very competitive quote. Despite Matt's heavy workload he managed to fit us in just two days later when one of his team, Adam, came round and completed the job with the same professional and friendly attitude displayed by Matt. All positives dealing with these people.

Really impressed. From our first contact with Matt we were impressed by his attitude and approach. He organised the scaffold and was there when it was erected. Matt and his team arrived at the agreed time and got on with the work straight away in a very efficient manner. They uncovered some further work that was required and Matt discussed the extra cost of the work – but at the end of the job he didn’t charge for this and kept to the original quote – very unexpected and I was prepared to pay the extra. All the team were very polite and courteous and I would definitely recommend MSL roofing and use them again.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Having contacted Matt for an estimate and assumed the chimney flashing had split and caused a leak, on examination he said the flashing was ok and didn't need replacing, but told me a tile had split and some mortar around the chimney etc. Needed replacing. I (not Matt) added the need to sort out some of the ridge tiles due to obvious signs of wear and we discussed the need to replace a valley as there was a leak at the bottom, and there were signs of previous remedial work. Matt's overall approach gave me confidence when dealing with him, and the subsequent hard work and professional attitude displayed by Adam and Mason over a day and a half to complete the job was excellent. They simply got on with the job, and left everything very tidy before going each day. As a company they are clearly proud of their rating on checkatrade, and they thoroughly deserve it.

I highly recommend this company for excellent service. They were prompt, efficient, friendly and helpful. I made my first enquiry on one day, Matthew visited the following day to provide an estimate and the work was carried out the following day - you can't get much better than that! From the moment first contact was made, Matthew and crew was polite, informative, efficient and conscientious. Survey completed quickly and various options openly and fully discussed, followed up in writing.(email the next day). When the work started, Matthew clearly stated what he proposed do in detail and how the work was to be fitted in between some inclement weather conditions. The guys worked very hard whilst on site, were friendly and courteous, completed a first class job in the stated time, and cleared the site leaving everything tidy. Very happy to recommend.

Matthew Leger was extremely prompt in responding to my queries, in addition to completing the work THE DAY AFTER I accepted the estimate (which meant a lot to me due to the fact that I mentioned I was worried about the original rain gutter hanging near my window)! Matthew was very polite, regardless of whether he was busy or not. On the day the work was to be completed, the team were at my house early and they were all extremely friendly and polite. I tend to be reluctant about leaving my house empty when people are able to look in and see the house contents but I felt comfortable with MSL Roofing and did not have any trust issues with them at all. After the work was done, Matthew called me to let me know that it was done and told me to call if I needed anything else. The work had been done to a very high standard. I don't tend to bother writing reviews but I feel that MSL Roofing really deserve any compliments. It is a fantastic company and I would readily recommend them to anyone!!

Matt and his team were polite, kept the site tidy and always kept us informed of progress on the work and phoned if for any reason they were unable to make an appointed time, due to weather etc. There is nothing worse than sitting around waiting for tradesmen to come and then they just don't turn up !!. They also arranged for a builder to carry out some unexpected repairs to brickwork, which if it was not for their contacts would not have been done in only a week or so. The quality of workmanship was excellent and the price very competitive. All in all, a top job by top blokes.

Considering all the problems Matthew faced due to the very bad decisions made by previous owners of our house (by putting in spray insulation foam in our roof!) he did an excellent job. He could have simply walked away from our difficult job but he persevered and managed to find a solution to our leaking roof.
