First time I've used Matt's services. Came out the same day I called to diagnose a faulty crankshaft sensor. I was given the choice of sourcing the part myself or for Matt to supply. I left it all in his capable hands and we set a day and time for the replacement to be fitted (2 days later). Matt turned up on time and set to work straight away. The work was completed in around 45 mins including a test drive. Very efficient and polite along with a very reasonable charge for the work undertaken. I highly recommend you give Matt a call.

Matt serviced my car and took the service book away to stamp. I have not had it back and trader in my opinion has been pretty well impossible to contact. In my opinion he shows no interest in the problem he has left me with. I would not use his services again.

Service book was taken away to stamp, which I did. Service book was then returned via Royal Mail 1st class post, addressed to the customer. All customers are able to email me or leave voice mail, as it can sometimes be impossible to answer my phone when in the middle of a job, this does not mean in my opinion that I am ‘pretty well impossible to contact’. However, the customer was trying to contact me out of my published working hours. The customer was advised over the phone and by email that I had returned his service book. I cannot be held responsible for losses via Royal Mail. In hindsight I probably should have returned the book via recorded or special delivery, which I will do for similar items in the future.’

This young man has restored my faith in customer service, he arrived to pick up my car at the said time and returned my car on time, the cost was exactly as quoted (in fact he did another job for same price) I will definately use Matt again and can highly recommend him. I have given a score of 10 throughout because I couldn't fault anything he did. My car is an R Reg Passat with 121,000 on the clock and passed MOT and only needed new windscreen wipers. I had a full service and paid less than I did when I first got the car 9 years ago. Well done Matt and thank you.

My car would not start, my husband and I had already tried to jump start it but this had not worked.  I called Matt and left a message. Matt returned my call very quickly and came round the same day. Matt looked at the car and thought it was the battery also.  So he also tried to jump start it, it worked. He was very polite and did not expect any money off me as he was only there for about ten minutes.  I will be definitely using Matt in the future and recommending him to all my friends and family.

Matt came twice, first to diagnose cause of car alarm going off randomly and difficulty setting central locking system with driver's door lock. Alarm went off randomly and drained battery if not turned off by leaving car unlocked. Matt fitted replacement lock and new battery on second visit and fixed the problem for very reasonable charge. Would use again and recommend anyone to sort out electrical problems.

After 3 dodgy mechanics from other companies (One of them being the RAC!) I called MSS Developments - Incredibly friendly chap came over to sort out my MG Rover non-starter. He ran a new cable through to the starter motor and within an hour the car was fit to be taken to have its MOT done despite sitting on my driveway for 3 months! Total time taken was 56 minutes. Regardless of MOT success or failure I'm definitely recommending MSS Developments to everyone, and I'll be definitely booking them for all my future motoring needs!

Trader has carried out work before with no problem.  On this occasion he came to fit and wire up 4 new gauges and sensors. He successfully wired up 2 but stated the sensor for the other two were faulty.  This seemed unlikely so I asked another party to look at the problem. He wired up the gauges with no need for new parts.
