The kitchen extension to our home has recently been completed and we are absolutely delighted with the results. We have been very impressed with the high standard of workmanship throughout the build and the way all the team were so hard working, cheerful, considerate and efficient! The team were always on time, materials delivered when required and there was always continuity of work! Bill, David and their team were really great to work with during the build - we found them all extremely helpful, honest, friendly, courteous and very good humoured! David was clear about how the work would be carried out all the way through (we were also provided with a schedule which was very helpful) and he was always available to provide answers to any queries and offer good advice! We would most certainly use this company again and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending N and W Beattie Construction as a reliable, friendly, trustworthy and professional company!

I was recommended to N&W Bettie and an appointment was arranged in order that an estimate could be given. A few days later I received the estimate and phoned with a few queries which were dealt with and a start date agreed, at the same time I was informed how long the job would take. On the agreed start date men, materials and equipment arrived, the men worked very well with nothing being too much trouble, each night the site was left in a clean and tidy condition. Despite extra work being required by me the job was finished on time. I am extremely pleased with the work and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The work was completed to schedule, budget and to a good standard. David and his team were very helpful in planning the work, happy to provide honest advice and set us up with temporary plumbing for our washing machine. They were very reliable and carried out the work in a professional manner. We were very pleased with the end result and found the whole experience to be hassle free. We would certainly use them again.

The team were always on time, polite, courteous, cheerful and friendly. Dave, who project managed, kept us regularly updated with every stage of the process and followed the schedule of works that was given to us at the start of the project. The quality and finish of the work is excellent and Dave gave this consideration at every stage throughout the project. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and Dave was always available at any time to answer any questions or to give advice. We were very impressed with how hard working the team were, the way in which the work was carried out and with the end result.

They converted half of a long garage into an office. This included the building works, electrics, plumbing, decoration. They stuck to timetables and budget. Their price was extremely competitive and the standard of their work first class. I would definitely use them again and would happily recommend them.

Work consisted of knocking down two external walls to create large kitchen/breafast room and utility room and an orangey. We was completely put at ease with Dave right from the beginning due to his confident, professional and friendly manner and this continued throughout the whole project. The quote was very competitive and the project never exceeded original cost and was completed within the time scale. We had extra work done, ie patio and this was also done to the same high standard.

Bill and his team did a terrific job in building a large extension for our 4 bed detached house in Kenley. Bill is a gentleman and can be trusted to deliver what he has promised. I was very impressed with the way that all of the deliveries arrived as they were needed which made the site easier to keep tidy. Bill and David (manager) explained the work that would be done and brought in their specialist trades to deliver a very high standard of workmanship. The team were able to deal with any problems that arose with a 'can do' attitude. I was not looking forward to the upheaval of having builders in but I can honestly say that Bill went out of his way to make sure things ran smoothly. All of this with very good humour! I would recommend N and W Beattie without hesitation.

The building work was quite large involving completely removing the roof. It was then replaced using upgraded materials extended over an existing conservatory base and a large bedroom, landing and stairs where created. The roof was tiled and a juliette balcony included. The result of the work has completely changed the function and appearance of the bungalow. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The workforce were extremely friendly and were happy to include my requests for some details I wanted included all at the original quoted price.

The quality of this company’s work is exceptional and we are extremely pleased with the finished result of a challenging project. N&W Beattie were able to execute the whole package for us, at a price which could not be beaten. This included extensive foundations on a sloping site and building extensions on each side of the house, which looked like they were originally part of the existing house. The project has been completed beautifully, both internally with a very high standard of decoration, and externally with a lovely drive, planters and lawn. Bill and Dave and their team were considerate and courteous at all times, and went out of their way to ensure we received the building which we had planned, to a standard which fulfilled our expectations, with minimal disruption. David and his team did a good job, completed within the time frame agreed. They even did a tidy up each day before they left and left their tools in a neat pile in a corner so there was minimal disruption for us. One of the RSJs is a bit tilted but not so noticeable that we felt we had to mention it. Other than that I can't fault their work. I'd definitely recommend them and would use them again if I were to need work done in the future.

A very professional, tidy and courteous team. They tidied up and put all their tools and materials in a corner at the end of each day so there was minimum disruption while the work was being carried out. The boxing in and plasterboarding of one of the RSJs isn't great - which is a shame because other than that the work was spot on. But it wasn't so bad that we felt we had to mention it. I would definitely use them again and I'll be recommending them to any friends who need work done in the future.

We have been pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend Dave and his whole team. They started the work on time even at short notice and completed it within the time scale we were originally given. All his staff were very polite and consulted us at all times. They have really gained our trust in builders and we thank check a trade for introducing us to a really good way of finding honest builders like N W Beattie LTD. Bill and Dave kept full cooperation all throughout and were available at all times to answer our queries and concerns. They stuck to the price they quoted and we felt they have been very reasonable with the price. We are quite impressed with their work and have decided to have the new kitchen also fitted by them which I am sure they will also complete most professionally. They were always there every day which is quite rare of builders so if you want your work to be completed on time and good this is the right company. I have a 2 year old very active child and being pregnant was very concerned but they never left me without water or electricity for long. Also fit me temporary sink, cooker and washing machine which I was very happy with and tried to keep my carpet in the hall way protected at all times. They have all been very patient specially with my 2 year old so I thank you guys and hope to use your services again in the near future and recommend you strongly to others.

We were desperate for an upstairs toilet and new bedrooms for our 2 girls, one of whom is disabled. The company pursued the local planning depot for 18 months, finally getting permission this year. The transformation is amazing and all our friends and neighbours are impressed by the new layout and facilities. They quoted one price at the start, and that was the same at the end, taking care of all the finishes, changes etc without coming back for more money. The whole job took six weeks, and all we have to do is move in!! Overall a job exceptionally well done.
