Indian Sandstone circular kit used to create steps with the help of walling blocks.
The circular sandstone kits are commonly used on the ground as a feature area of paving, however we utilised their shape to create 5 steps on either side of the walling to allow safe access onto the garden above.

The site was cleared for the introduction of 135m2 of block paving to front and back, increasing the useable space and allowing the garden to be kept as low maintenance as possible with covering the entire area in paving.

The site had to be cleared completely to be able to introduce structure in the form of terracing in different materials. The use of natural products throughout the scheme combined to make an attractive and practical garden for the young family

The patio was created in four phases. The first was a main patio by the back doors for seating and entertaining. This led onto a cobbled path which was intersected by a semi circular area for a bench. The cobbled path continued to the edge of the garage and rolled into another area of sandstone paving for the bbq area and storage.

The site had shape that was already formed by the flower beds. However they were much lower than the cutomer liked. Therefore the levels were raised enabling the concrete ramp from thee pavement to be removed and incorporated into a level area. This was far safer and more pleasing to the eye.
